Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page. J'ai choisi une photo d'une de mes amies prise lors d'une séance photo.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout. It's a photo of one of my best friend I've taken during a photo shoot we had a few days ago. 

Comme d'habitude, j'ai couvert le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent pour le protéger des différents medias que je vais ajouter. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'ai de pâte à craqueler cuivre et d'un pochoir.

As usual, I applied a layer of clear gesso to protect the background from all the media I will add later. When dry, I began to add a design with a stencil and a copper crackle paste. 

Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai coloré les fleurs avec un spray maison de Primary Element et d'eau. J'ai également coloré les feuilles avec plusieurs couleurs de Twinkling H2O.

While the paste was drying, I colored the flowers with a home-made spray of  Primary Element and water. I used several colors of Twinkling H2O to color the die-cut leaves. 

Quand la pâte a été sèche, j'ai ajouté quelques tamponnages avec une encre permanente et j'ai coloré le fond. Puis j'ai collé tous les embellissements.

When the paste was finally dry, I added some random stamping with a permanent ink and colored the background. Then I glued all the embellishments.

Pour finir la page, j'ai ajouté des Mica Flakes et des Glass Glitters.

To finish the layout, I added some Mica Flakes and Glass Glitters.
