It’s time for a new challenge full of emotion on Mixed Media Place blog. This month we would like to see how Jealousy inspires you.

J’ai trouvé cette photo sur Internet et j’ai toute de suite su qu’elle serait parfaite pour ce challenge. J’ai voulu ajouté une petite pointe d’humour, car la jalousie peut être un sentiment très destructeur. Mais parfois, c’est un sentiment qui nous aide à aller de l’avant... parfois c’est innocent... parfois nous sommes jaloux, mais en même heureux pour l’autre... Oui, la Jalousie est sentiment très spécial...

I found this cute photo on Internet and I know that it was perfect for this challenge. I want to keep a little sense of humor as Jealousy can be a very destructive emotion. But sometime it can help us to move forward… sometime it is just innocent… sometime you are jealous but in the same time happy for the other… Yes Jealousy is a special feeling…

J’ai travaillé avec la collection Nature Walk qui est parfaite pour obtenir le petit côté vintage que je voulais donner à ma composition. J’ai ajouté de la pâte à craqueler avec un pochoir sur une couche légère de gesso. Et j’ai coloré papier et pâte avec mes Twinklings. J’ai terminé avec quelques tâches de gesso noir et de Twinkling Burnt Umber.

I used the Nature Walk collection, which is perfect for the vintage atmosphere I want to achieve. I add some crackle paste to my background with a stencil on top of a layer of gesso. Then, I used my Twinklings to color paper and crackle paste. I finished with splatters of Burnt Umber Twinkling and black gesso.

J’ai utilisé les mêmes couleurs de Twinkling pour teinter les morceaux de chipboard.

I used the same colors of Twinkling to color the chipboard.

Le feuillage, découpé dans du papier noir, a été coloré avec une Twinkling Burnt Umber. Les fleurs ont été colorées avec les mêmes aquarelles que le fond.

The greenery, die cut in a black paper, has been colored with the Burnt Umber Twinkling. The flowers has been colored with the same colors as the background.

• Chipboard - 7 Dots Studio (Illumination) ;
• Fleur / Flower - Prima (Sunrise Sunset - Mini Roses Gold) ;
• Aquarelles / Watercolors - Twinkling H2O de Luminarte (Mystique, Teal Zircon, Burnt Amber) ;
• Gesso - (Black, White) ;
• Distress Ink - Ranger (Walnut Stain) ;
• Crackle Paint - Viva Decor (White) ;
• Pochoir / Stencil - Stampers Anonymous (Splatters) ;
• Matrice de coupe / Die - Sizzix (Spring Greenery).

Spring - Green Tara DT

Voici une nouvelle page pour ce mois d'Avril avec les superbes produits de Green Tara.

It's my turn to show you some layouts made with Green Tara supplies.

J'ai commencé par mettre du gesso à l'aide d'un pochoir. Puis, j'ai continué avec quelques tampons et de l’encre Archival. Et j’ai terminé avec mes Twinklings.

I started to add gesso with a stencil. I stamped with Archival ink to add texture. And I, then, finished with the Twinklings to add some colors.

J'ai complété le groupe de fleurs (Wild Rose, Primula, Lace Pearl Flower, Flower Spray & Velvet Leave) avec des découpes faites dans du canvas coloré avec des Twinklings.

I completed the cluster of flower (Wild Rose, Primula, Lace Pearl Flower, Flower Spray & Velvet Leave) with dies cut made of canvas I colored with the Twinklings.

Après avoir peint le « grillage » avec du gesso noir, j'ai ajouté une touche métallique avec de la cire Hématite.

After having paint the « chicken wire » with some black gesso, I added wax to give a metallic touch to it.

• Gelatos - Faber Castell (Pistachio, Green Tea) ;
• Matrice de coupe / Die - Memory Box (Blooming Branch) ;
• Tampon / Stamp - Prima (Vintage Vanity - Book) ;
• Pochoir / Stencil - Prima (Circle Lattice) ;
• Encre / Ink - Faber Castell (Big Brush Pen - Warm Grey) ;
• Cire / Wax - Inka Gold Metallic de Viva Decor (Hematite) ;
• Chipboard - Dusty Attic (Chicken Wire) ;
• Gesso Liquitex (Extra heavy - White, Black).
