Free to Fly - Mixed media layout for Lindy's Gang

Aujourd'hui je suis sur Lindy's Gang avec un nouveau tutoriel: une page mixed media.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new step-by-step mixed media layout.

J'ai tamponné ici et là le fond avant de le protéger d'une couvhe de gesso transparent. J'ai mélangé du gel 3D brillant et de la poudre Steel SHimmer du set Industrial Chic, puis j'ai utilisé cette pâte pour ajouter un motif avec un pochoir.

I stamped randomly the background, then I primed the background with clear gesso. I mixed together 3D Gloss Gel and the Magical Steel Shimmer from the Industrial Chic set. I used this paste to add a design with a stencil. 

Une fois sec, j'ai coloré le fond avec les encres Tweedle Dee Denim et Tainted Love Teal.

When dry, I color the background with Tweedle Dee Denim and Tainted Love Teal.

J'ai remplacé le centre des fleurs avec des pistils argent. J'ai collé quelques branches pour rappeler la photo et ajouter les fleurs. J'ai embossé des perles diamants avec les poudres Hyacinth Blue Jade et Lapis Lazulli Blue Gold.

I replace the center of the flowers with silver pistils. I glued some branches to match to photo and add the flowers. I embossed the back of diamond pebbles with Hyacinth Blue Jade and Lapis Lazuli Blue Gold. 

J'ai découpé des papillons dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai simplement embossé les âpillons évidés aves la poudre Chrome Doesn't Pay, mais pas complétement pour ne pas faire fondre toute la poudre. J'ai égalemnt les papillons pleins avec Chrome Doesn't Pay, mais une fois la poudre complétement fondue, j'ai tamponnée celle-ci pour donner du relief aux papillons.

I die cut some butterflies in a watercolor paper. I just embossed the perforated butterflies with Chrome Doesn't Pay, but not completely to not melt all the chunky EP. I embossed also the plain butterflies with Chrome Doesn't Pay, but when the powder was completely melted, I stamped the hot enamel to give some texture to the butterflies.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des sequins, des glass glitters et des microbilles.

To finish the layout, I added sequins, glass glitters, and microbeads.

Aujourd'hui, je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec les collections Vintage Remnants et Ethereal.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Remnants and the Ethereal collection. 

J'ai protégé le fond avec du gesso transparent. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un motif avec de la pâte White Sand et d'un pochoir que j'ai séché.

I primed the background with clear gesso. When dry, I added a design with white sand texture paste. I dried it with a heat gun.

Tant que la pâte était encore collante, j'ai frotté délicatement une feuille argent pour ajouter une touche brillante. Enfin, j'ai ajouté un deuxième motif à l'aide d'un autre pochoir et de peinture acrylique.

While the paste was still sticky, I rubbed gently a silver foil to add a shiny touch to the design. Next, I added a second design with a stencil and an acrylic paint.

J'ai coloré quelques fleurs de plusieurs colletions (Botanical Blands, Botanical Potpourro, et Cotton Blooms) avec la même encre et j'en ai gardé quelques unes blanches pour rappeler les fleurs de la couronne.

I colored a few flowers from different collections (Botanical Blends, Botanical Potpourri, and Cotton Blooms) with the same ink and I kept some of them white to remind the flowers' crown. 

J'ai découpé quelques morceaux de papier pour mettre sous la photo, et j'ai commencé à coller les fleurs ainsi que les feuilles. J'ai également ajouter quelques éléments naturel. Une fois satisfaite, j'ai ajouté des glass glitters et des microbilles.

I cut a few pieces of paper to add under the photo, and I started to glue the flowers as well as the leaves. I added some natural elements too. When happy, I added some glass glitters and microbeads.

Pour finir la mise en page j'ai ajouté quelques tamponnages avec le set Pascale's Formula.

To finish the layout, I stamped with Pascale's Formula and I splattered with white ink.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Remnants collection. 

J'ai commencé par tamponné ici et là avec le tampon 1787 et de 'encre noir. Puis, j'ai protégé le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent. Enfin, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche.

First I stamped randomly with the 1787 stamp with black ink. Next, I primed the background with clear gesso. Then, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste.

J'ai peint avec du gesso noi quelques éléments en résine. Puis je les ai ciré en bronze, puis en bleu et en orange jusqu'à je sois satisfaite du résultat.

I painted with black gesso a few resin elements. Then I waxed them with bronze, then blue and orange waxes, until I was happy with the result.

J'ai ciré éagnlement avec la cire orange les baies et les éléments métalliques du set Botanical Blends.

I waxed also with the orange wax the berry branches and the metallic elements from the Botanical Blends set.

J'ai découpé quelques éléments du set n°2 de découpes laser Vintage Remnants pour ajouter sous la photo. J'ai également ajouté des morceaux de dentelle, des plumes, des fleurs et les éléments que j'ai cirés.

I cut some elements from Vintage Remnants Frame Set 2 to add under the photo. I added also some lace scraps, some feather, some flowers, and the waxed elements.

J'ai également coloré le fond autour de la composition pour donner un peu de profondeur à l'ensemble.

I lightly colored the background around the composition to add more dimension.

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des perles et des perles de rocailles.

To finish the layout, I added some pearls and glass beads.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Winter Edges collection. But before I continue I want to wish you all happiness, health, and inspiration for this New Year.  

J'ai tamponné ici et là avec diverses encres et les tampons du set Tickets and Numbers. Une fois satisfaite du résultat, j'ai protégé le fond avec une couche de gesso tranparent. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motig à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler transparente.

I stamped randomly with different inks and the Tickets and Numbers set. When happy with the result I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I added a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste.

Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai paint les chipboards avec des peintures émeraude et orange.

While the crackle paste was drying, I painted the chipboards with emerald and ginger paints.

Ensuite, j'ai peint le fond avec de la peinture et de l'encre vertes.

Next, I painted the background with green paint and ink.

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé tous les embellissements.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments.

Puis, j'ai ajouté des touches de peintures émeraude et orange sur les embellisements.

Next, I added emerald and orange paint on top of the embellishments.

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et des flocons de mica.

To finish the layout I added some microbeads and mica flakes.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nuvelle page réalisée avec la collection Tattered Garden. J'ai travaillé avec une photo de mon arrière-grand-mére et de moi.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Tattered Garden collection. I work with a photo of my maternal great grandmother with me. 

J'ai tamponné avec le tampon Flowery Tiles autour de l'emplacement où je souhiate mettre ma photo, avant de protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai ajouté un premier motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de l'encre Distress Dusty Cocord.

I stamped with the Flowery Tiles around the area my photo will be, before priming the background with clear gesso. Then, I added the first design with Dusty Concord Distress ink.

J'ai ajouté un deuxième motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et d'Icing paste Old Silver. J'ai coloré une serrure en résine avec des cires.

I added the second design with a stencil and Old Silver Icing paste. I colored a resin keyhole with waxes.

J'ai décupé des feuilles dans du papier aquarelle que 'ai coloré avec des encres brune et verte. J'ai coloré les fleurs avec l'encre Distress Dusty Concord et l'encre brune, et les brindilles avec une encre amethyste.

I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper that I colored with brown and green ink. I colored the flowers with the Dusty Concord Distress ink and the brown ink and the stems with an amethyst wax.

J'ai ajouté de l'encre brune au fond avant de coller tous les embellissements

I added some brown ink to the background too before gluing all the embellishments. 

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et quelques diamonts que j'ai peint avec des peintures acryliques violettes.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads and some diamond pebbles that I colored with violet acrylic paints.
