Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Vintage Artistry. J'ai choisi de ravailler avec une photo que j'ai prise lors d'un au château de l'Islette (Vallée de La Loire, France).

Today I'm up on 49 and market blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Artistry collection. I chose to work with a photo I've taken during an event at the Château de l'Islette (Loire Valley, France).

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Ensuite, j'ai ajouté plusieurs couleurs que l'ont retrouve dans la photo. Une fois contente, j'ai saupoudré du gros sel et du sel fin ici et là, et j'ai recouvert 'ensemble de film transparent. J'ai laissé le tout séché naturellment.

First I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I added different colors that matched the photo. When happy, I sprinkled some coarse salt and some table salt on some part and  I covered everything with a piece of clingfilm. I let dry everything naturally.

J'ai vaporisé un papier aquarelle avec des encres jaune et verte que j'ai saupoudré de gros sel et de sel fin. Une fois sec, j'ai utilisé ce papier pour découper quelques feuilles.

I sprayed a watercolor paper with green and yellow inks and I sprinkled it with coarse and table salt. When dry, I used this paper to die cut a few leaves. 

J'ai coloré quelques fleurs Buttermilk pour rappeler le vert de la photo.

I colored some Buttermilk flowers to match the green color of the photo.

Une fois le fond sec, j'ai enlevé le film transparent et le sel. La combinaison des deux techiniques donne un trés beau résultat.

When the background was dry, I removed the clingfilm and the salt. The combination of both techniques gave a beautiful result.

Ensuite, j'ai découpé quelques éléments de la feuille Ephemera Cut Out pour ajouter sous la photo, j'ai collé du sisal et tous les embellissements. J'ai tamponné ici et là avec le tampon 1787.

Next, I cut some elements of the Ephemera Cut Out sheet to add under the photo, I glued some sisal and all the embellishments. I stamped here and there with the 1787 stamp.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et des mini Art Stones.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads and mini Art Stones.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Tattered Gardens. J'ai choisi une photo de ma mère dans les bras de son grand-père.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Tattered Gardens collection. I chose a photo of my mother with her grandfather.

J'ai tamponné le fond avant de la protéger avec di gesso transparent. Ensuite, j'ai ajouyé un motif à l'aide d'un des pochoirs que j'ai créé and des trois pâtes du set Stone Effect.

I stamped the background before priming it with clear gesso. Nest, I added a design with one of the stencils I designed and the three Stone Effect pastes. 

Une fois les pâtes séches, j'ai ajouté un peu de couleurs avec des encres grises et une peinture métallique violette.

When the pastes were dry, I added some colors with gray inks and purple metallic paint. 

J'ai découpé quelques feuilles dans un papier aquarelle et je les ai coloré avec des encres vertes et grises. J'ai également coloré quelques fleurs Vintage Shades Clusters avec la peinture violette.

I die cut a few leaves in a watercolor paper and I colored them with green and gray inks. I colored some flowers from the Vintage Shades Cluster with the purple paint also. 

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour ajouter sous la photo avant de coller tous les embellissements avec un gel 3D : du sisal, les fleurs, les découpes de feuilles et des éléments découpés au laser

I cut a few papers to add under the photo before gluing all the embellishments with a 3D gel: Sisal, flowers, leaves and some Laser cut element.

Pour terminer la mise en page j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

I finished the layout with microbeads.

Rome 1950 - 49 and Market DT

Aujourd'hui, je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market with une nouvelle page avec une photo de mon père prise lors d'un voyage à Rome en compagnie d'amis en 1950. J'ai naturellement choisi la collection Captured Adventures qui est parfaite pour des photos anciennes comme celle-ci.

Today I'm up n 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring a photo of my father taken during a trip to Rome with his friends in 1950. Naturally, I used the Captured Adventures collection that is perfect for a vintage photo like this one.

J'ai commencé par tamponner le fond avec deux encres et le tampon 1787 . J'ai ajouté deux encore tampons différents du set 2 de Captured Adventures. Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai protégé le papier avec du gesso transparent.

First I stamped the background with the 1787 stamp with two inks. I added two more stamp images from the Captured Adventures stamps set 2. When done, I primed the paper with clear gesso. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un peu de couleurs au fond à l'aide d'encres et d'un pochoir. Au lieu de vaporiser les encres, j'ai utilisé un tampon à mélanger (blending tool) pour les ajouter. J'ai ajouté un deuxième motif à l'aide d'un second pochoir et de modeling paste.

Next, I added some colors with different inks and a stencil. Instead of spraying the inks through the stencil, I used a blending tool to add the inks. I added a second design with another stencil and modeling paste. 

J'ai découpé des feuilles dans du papier aquarelle que j'ai coloré avec les mêmes encres. J'ai coloré également les fleurs Vintage Shade Cluster avec une encre gris-bleu.

I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper that I colored with the same inks. I colored also the blue Vintage Shade Cluster flowers with a blue-gray ink. 

J'ai coupé quelques papiers dans la feuille bonus Dandelion Fields et le pack 6x6 Captured Adventures pour ajouter sous la photo. J'ai également ajouté du sisal avant de coller tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo from the Dandelion Fields bonus sheet and the Captured Adventures 6x6 pack. I added some sisal before gluing all the embellishments with 3D gel. 

Ensuite, j'ai blanchi les fleurs avec du gesso blanc afin d'accentuer le coté vintage des fleurs.

Next, I dried brush the flowers with white gesso to tone down the color and accentuated the vintage look. 

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai fait des tâches d'encre noir et j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout, I splattered Indian ink and I added some microbeads.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le  blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Tattered Garden. J'ai choisi une photo de mon grand-pére maternel avec ses élèves prise juste avec la seconde guerre mondiale.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the collection Tattered Garden. I chose a photo of my maternal grandfather with his pupils taken just before WWII.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Ensuite, j'ai mélangé du curcuma avec du gel 3D brillant. J'ai ajoué un premier motif à l'aide d'un stencil et de cette pâte jaune.

I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I mixed some Curcuma and 3D gloss gel. I added the first design with a stencil and this yellow paste.

Pendant que le fond séchait, j'ai préparé une deuxième pâte avec des graines de pavot et du gel 3D brillant. J'ai utilisé cette pâte pour ajouter  un second motif avec un autre pohoir.

While it was drying, I prepared a second paste with the 3D gloss gel and poppy seeds. I used this paste to add a second design with another stencil.  

Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté de la couleur avec une encre verte et une encre bleue. J'ai séché les encres avant d'ajouter des tâches avec du thé.

When everything was dry, I added some color with a green ink and a blue ink. I dried the inks before adding some tea stains.

J'ai coloré les chipboards avec une encre or et de l'encre de chine. J'ai décupé des brindilles dans un papier aquarelle que j'ai coloré avec une cire brune-verte.

I colored the chipboard with a white gold wax and a drawing ink. I die cut some stems in a watercolor paper which I colored with a brown-green wax. 

J'ai découpé des papiers pour mettre sous la photo. Avant de coller tous les embellissements, j'ai tamponné ici et là avec les tampons 1787 et Captured Adventures set 1.

I cut some papers to add under the photo. Before gluing all the embellishments, I added some random stamping with the 1787 stamp and the set 1 of Captured Adventures. 

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles ainsi que des tâches avec diverses encres: blue, verte et noire.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads as well as splatters of the different inks: blue, green and black.
