RETURN to Scrap365

Ma page suivant le sketch n°7 :

My layout based on sketch #7:

A photo of Street Art from Ron English I've taken in Little Italy - New York this summer. This paint is more than 3 storey high!

I covered the background with a thin layer of gesso. Then I glued on both sides small strip of paper colored with tea and pigments. Then I stamped with inks or paints differents colors to add some texture.

The flowers had been painted with the same Silk paint I've used to color the background. The leaves had been cut in canvas resist before being colored.

  2. Pascale your layout is so beautifully balanced. It is the perfect representation of the principle. Colours taken from the photo, the strips of paper giving it texture but not overwhelming anything and the cluster on the left and the cog on the top right echoing each other. Gorgeous! Thank you so much for being part of the Blog Hop, you ROCKED it! :D
