Battage 1950 - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Vintage Spring Basics . J'ai choisi une photo de famille prise à la ferme de mes grand-parents au moment du battage.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Spring Basics. I chose a family photo taken at my grandparents' farm during the threshing.

J'ai tamponné le fond avec un tampon avant de le protéger avec du gesso transparent. Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâtes à craqueler transparente et blanche, que j'ai laissé sécher naturellement.

I stamped the background with a stamp before priming it with clear gesso. Next, I added a design with a stencil and two crackle pastes: one clear, the other white.

Pendant que les pâtes séchaient, j'ai découpé divers éléments dans du papier aquarelle : des feuilles, des brindilles et des rouages. J'ai coloré toutes les découpes avec diverses encres et Magicals. J'ai également embossé quelques brindilles.

While the pastes were drying, I die cut different elements in a watercolor paper: some leaves, stems, and gears. I colored all the elements with different inks and magicals. I embossed also some of the stems.

J'ai découpé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la phoo ainsi que du sisal avant de coller tout les embellissements.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo as well as some sisal, before gluing all the embellishments.

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Summer Basics. I worked with a photo I've taken during an event at the Château de l'Islette (Loire Valley, France).

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec une couche de gesso transparent avant d'jouter un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et d'encres bleu-turquoise.Ensuite, J'ai tamponné ici et là avec une encre noire.

First I primed the background with clear gesso before adding a design with a stencil and teal inks. Next, I stamped here and there with a black ink. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté une second motif avec un deuxième pochoir et de pâte papier. Pendant que la pâte paier était encore humide j'ai saupoudré deux poudres à embosser.

Next, I added a second design with a second stencil and paper paste. While the paper paste was still wet I sprinkled two embossing powders that I heated set.

J'ai découpé diverses feuilles dans du papier calque et du papier aquarelle. Je les ai embossé avec les mêmes poudres.

I die cut different leaves in a vellum paper and in a watercolor paper. I embossed them with the same powders. 

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé tous les embellissements : du sisal, quelques fleurs dont j'ai changé les coeurs, quelques éléments en pâte de papier, les feuilles et quelques cristals.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments: some sisal, a few flowers whose hearts I've changed, some paper clay elements, the leaves and some crystals.

Pour finir la mise en page j'ai de nouveau tamponné avec un tampon texte.

To finish the layout I stamped again with a text stamp.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Celebration. J'ai choisi une photo de mon père en compagnie de ses parents et de sa soeur prise en 1959.

Today I'm up on Maje Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection. I chose a photo of my father with his parents and his sister taken in 1959.

J'ai déchiré la feuille Champagne en trois morceaux que j'ai colé sur la feuille Anniversary. Puis, jai tamponné le fond avec une encre marron avant de protéger le fon avec du gesso transparent.

I tore the Champagne sheet in three pieces, and I glued them to the Anniversary sheet. Then, I stamped the background with a brown ink before priming it with clear gesso. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'unpochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche. Je l'ai laissé sécher naturellement.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let it dry naturally.

J'ai découpé quelques feuilles dans du papier aquarelle que j'ai coloré avec des encres vertes et brunes.

I die-cut some leaves in a watercolor paper, that I colored with green and brown inks. 

J'ai découpé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo ainsi que du sisal. Puis j'ai commencé ma mise en page avec divers éléments : fleur, morceaux de dentelle, feuilles et un panneau de rue.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo as well as sisal. I started to build the composition with different elements: flowers, doily's scraps, leaves and a black street sign. 

Une fois contente, jai coloré légérement le fond avec des encres vertes, brunes et roses.

When happy, I colored lightly the background with green, brown and pink inks. 

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout I added some microbeads.

Quand j'ai vu le mot MEMORIES j'ai juste pris la box dans laquelle je conserve mes photos de famill. Mais ça c'était la partie facile, le plus difficile a été de trouver celle que je voulais utilisé pour ce projet ! J'ai finalement choisi cette photo de ma maman quand elle avait seulement 19 mois ! J'ai ajouté un chipboard de cadres imbriqués les uns dans les autres.

When I saw the word MEMORIES, I just had to take the box where I keep my family’s photos. But that was the easiest part, the hard part was to find the one that I want to use on this project! I finally chose this photo of my mother when she was just 19 months old! I added a chipboard made of interlocking FRAMES.

J'ai commencé par tamponné le fond avec deux tampons et deux encres : une marron et une noire. Puis j'ai protégé le fond avec du gesso transparent.

First I stamped the background with two stamps and two inks: one brown and the other black. Next, I primed the background with clear gesso. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un motif aà l'aide d'un pochoir et deux pâtes à craqueler : transparente et blanche afin d'obtenir un motif discret.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and two crackle pastes: clear and white to obtain a faded design. 

Pendant que les pâtes séchaient, j'ai découpé des feuilles et des brindilles dans du papier aquarelle. Je les ai coloré avec plusieurs encres en spray ainsi que les fleurs et le chipboard.

While the pastes were drying, I die cut some leaves and stems in a watercolor paper. I colored them with different spray inks as well as the flowers and the chipboard. 

Ensuite, j'ai peint le fond avec les mêmes couleurs que j'ai utilisé pour colorer les embellissements. J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé les embellissements avec une gel 3D.

Next, I painted the background with the same colors I used to color all the embellishments. I cut some papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel. 

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et des Art Stones.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads and Art Stones.

May Cards - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec un noueau set de cartes réalisées avec la collection Vintage Summer Basics.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new set of cards featuring the Vintage Summer Basics collection. 

Les deux cartes ont été réalisés de la même manière, seules les fleurs sont différentes. J'ai protégé le fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motof à l'aide d'un pochoir et du set de pâte Camouflage.

Both cards were made the same way, only the flowers are different. I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I added a design with a stencil and the Camouflage Effect Paste set. 

Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai découpé des feuilles et des brindilles dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai également découpé un napperon dans le papier 1914.

While the paste was drying, I die cut some leaves and stems in a watercolor paper. I die cut also a doily in the 1914paper.

J'ai coloré les feuilles, les brindilles et quelques fleurs avec des encres.

I colored the leaves, stems and some flowers with inks. 

J'ai coloré le fond avant de coller tous les embellissements : papier, sisal, bridilles, feuilles, fleurs et napperon.

I added some color to the background before gluing all the embellishments: paper, sisal, stems, leaves, flowers, and doily. 

POur terminer les cartes, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the cards, I added some microbeads.
