Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Celebration. J'ai choisi une photo de mon père en compagnie de ses parents et de sa soeur prise en 1959.

Today I'm up on Maje Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection. I chose a photo of my father with his parents and his sister taken in 1959.

J'ai déchiré la feuille Champagne en trois morceaux que j'ai colé sur la feuille Anniversary. Puis, jai tamponné le fond avec une encre marron avant de protéger le fon avec du gesso transparent.

I tore the Champagne sheet in three pieces, and I glued them to the Anniversary sheet. Then, I stamped the background with a brown ink before priming it with clear gesso. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'unpochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche. Je l'ai laissé sécher naturellement.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let it dry naturally.

J'ai découpé quelques feuilles dans du papier aquarelle que j'ai coloré avec des encres vertes et brunes.

I die-cut some leaves in a watercolor paper, that I colored with green and brown inks. 

J'ai découpé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo ainsi que du sisal. Puis j'ai commencé ma mise en page avec divers éléments : fleur, morceaux de dentelle, feuilles et un panneau de rue.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo as well as sisal. I started to build the composition with different elements: flowers, doily's scraps, leaves and a black street sign. 

Une fois contente, jai coloré légérement le fond avec des encres vertes, brunes et roses.

When happy, I colored lightly the background with green, brown and pink inks. 

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout I added some microbeads.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection. I chose a photomontage I've made. 

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec une couche de gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai embossé un motif tamponné. J'ai également ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche.

I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I embossed a stamp design. I added also a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. 

Pendant que la pâte à craqueler séchait, j'ai peint des feuilles et des fleurs avec du gesso blanc,  et d'autres avec des encres.

While the crackle paste was drying, I primed some leaves and flowers with white gesso, while I painted others with inks.  

J'ai également coloré des Art Stones avec de l'encre de chine et une encre brune ainsiq ue des découpes.

At the same time, I colored Art Stones with drawing ink and a brown ink. I painted some die cut with the same inks. 

J'ai ensuite coloré le fond avec diverses encres.

Next, I added some color to the background with different inks. 

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour metre sous la photo et j'ai collé tous les embellissements.

I cut a few papers to add under the phot, and I glued all the embellishments. 

Et pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai légérement coloré les fleurs et les feuilles et j'ai ajouté les Art Stones.

To finish the layout, I colored lightly the flowers and the leaves, and I added the Art Stones.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Ensuite, j'ai mélangé de la pâte à craqueler blanche avec une poudre Magical brune. J'ai utilisé cette pâte avec un pochoir pour ajouter motif.

As usual, I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I mixed some white crackle paste with a brown Magical. I used this paste to add a design with a stencil.

Pendantque la pâte à craqueler séchée, j'ai coloré les chipboards (feuiles et fleurs) avec diverses encres. J'ai embossé le centre des Spring Flowers pour ajouter un peu de texture. J'ai ciré les vis avec une cire or rose.

While the crackle paste was drying, I colored chipboards (the foliage and the flowers) with different inks. I embossed the middle of the Spring Flowers to add some texture. I waxed the screws with a rose gold wax.

J'ai également coloré quelques fleurs avec une encre brune.

I also colored some flowers and vines with a brown ink. 

Le fond sec, j'ai ajouté de la couleur avec les mêmes encres que j'ai utilisé pour colorer les chipboards.

The background dry, I added some colors with the same inks I used to color the chipboards.

Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai tamponné ici et là avec deux tampons et deux encres Archival. Ensuite, j'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé tous les embellissements avec un gel 3D.

When happy with the result, I added some random stamping with two stamps and two Archival inks. Next, I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel.

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout I added some microbeads.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection. I chose another photo of my grandmother also taken in the 20's.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fnd avec une cuche de gesso transparent. Ensuite j'ai ajouté plusieurs couleurs : chaque couleur a été ajouté à l'aide d'un pochoir différent.

First I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I added several colors: each color was added with a different stencil.

Ensuite, j'ai tamponné ici et là avec ces mêmes peintures.

Next, I stamped randomly with the same paints.

J'ai utilisé un moule avec de la pâte de papier opour faire des embellissements. J'ai coloré les fleurs ainsi que les feuilles découpées dans du papier aquarelle.

I used a mold with paper clay to make some embellishments. I colored some flowers as well as some die cut leaves. 

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé les embellissements avec du gel 3D.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel.

J'ai décidé d'ajouter un nouveau motif avec une peinture acrylique or mélangée avec de la poudre de texture pour obtenir une pâte 3D.

I decided to add another design with a gold paint mixed with texture powder to obtain a 3D paste.

Et pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des Art Stones.

To finish the layout I added some Art Stones.

Today  I have a set of three cards to share with you, inspired by the Mood Board from Maja Design.
And just a reminder, that you still can win this collection here.

J'ai réalisé des cartes très simples qui peuvent facilement se glisser dans une enveloppe.

I make some simple cards which would fit easely in a envelope.

J'ai coupé les cartes dans la collection Monochrome Shades of Celebration.

I cut the card bases in the Monchromes Shades of Celebration.

J'ai coupé quelques papiers ainsi que les modèles dans le pack 6x6 de la collection Celebration.

I cut some papers as well as the ladies in the 6x6 Celebration paper pack.

Après avoir collé les quelques papiers, j'ai juste ajouté quelques fleurs et un peu de dentelle.

After gluing the papers, I just added a few flat flowers and some scraps of doilies.

We would be so grateful if you also could change the file name of the photo to your first and last name including your country.
