April's cards - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui j'ai un nouveau set de cartes pour Maja Design à vous proposer, réalisées avec la collection Enjoying Outdoors.

Today I have a new set of cards for Maja Design to share with you, featuring the Enjoying Outdoor collection. 

Et voici le tableau d'inspiration que nous a concocé Marie ce mois-ci :


Here is the beautiful mood board that Marie created this month:

Ces cartes sont trés simple à faire. J'ai commencé par couper le papier de fond. Ensuite, j'ai collé un bout de papier et découpé un autre

The cards were really simple to make. First I chose the background paper. Next, I glued a scrap of paper and die cut another one. 

Ensuite, j'ai découpé quelques feuilels dans du papier aquarelles et je les ai coloré avec des encres vertes. J'ai collé un peu de sisal, quelques fleurs, ajouté des microbilles et voilà !

Next, I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper and I colored them with green inks. I glued some sisal, a few flowers, the leaves, added some microbeads, and that's it.

Cette carte peut être utlisée dans les deux sens: portrait ou paysage.

This card can be used both way: Landscape or portrait.

♥ Create anything you’ll like – a layout, a card, something altered or maybe a canvas. Use Maja papers primarily! Take a nice picture of it and send it to moodboard@majadesign.nu. We also need to know your full name, address, and a phone number. Please specify what collection you would like to win if you are the lucky one. We will also want to know if you would like it in the size 12*12 or 6*6. Please send us the pictures in the size of 800 pixels on the width. We would be so grateful if you also could change the file name of the photo to your first and last name including your country.

♥ Publish the project/s on your blog (or/and any social media, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) with a link to our site. Please also add the image of the mood board.

Today the new color challenge on Lindy's blog is up. Here is my project with one of my photomontage ...

J'ai ajouté un premier motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et d'une cire. J'ai mélangé du gel 3D brillant avec la poudre Bratwurst Brown. J'ai ajouté un deuxième motif avec cette pâte et un autre pochoir.

I added the first design with a stencil and a wax. I mixed together a 3D gloss gel with the Bratwurst Brown magical. I added a second design with another stencil and the home-made paste.

Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai vaporisé des morceaux de papier aquarelle avec diverses encres. Une fois sec, j'ai tamponné chaque papier avec un tampon différent. J'ai découpé quelques feuillages dans un papier aquarelle et je les ai coloré avec les mêmes encres.

While the paste was drying, I sprayed some scraps of watercolor papers with different inks. When dry I stamped each paper with a different stamp. I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper and I colored them with the same inks. 

J'ai vaporisé le chipboard avec l'encre Medieval Gold. Un fois sec, j'ai ajouté une couche de gesso brillant que j'ai saupoudré avec la poudre à embosser Ceasar's Gold pour obtenir une effet vieilli.

I sprayed the raw chipboard with the Medieval Gold ink. When dry, I  added a layer of gloss gel that I sprinkled randomly with Ceasar's Gold embossing powder to obtain a distressed look.

Le fond sec, j'ai ajouté tamponné ici et là avec le reste de la pâte Bratwurst que j'ai faite précédemment. Comme ce n'était pas très visible, j'ai recommencé avec une peinture métallique.

At this time, the paste on the background was dry, I added some random stamping with the left-over of the Bratwurst paste I made earlier. As it was not really visible on the back background I stamped again with a metallic paint. 

Ensuite, j'ai coloré quelques fleurs avec les encres Poincena Red Flame et Incandescent Copper.

The next step was to color some flowers with the Poinciana Red Flame and the Incandescent Copper inks. 

Avant de coller tous les embellissements, j'ai vaporisé des encres Medieval Gold et Cocoa Bean Copper. Et voilà !

Before gluing all the embellishments, I sprayed some Medieval Gold and Cocoa Bean Copper inks. And voilà!
