Today, I'm up on Mixed Media Place's blog with a altered embroidery hoop I made as a birthday gift to a friend.

Avez-vous vu qu'Anna Dabrowska aka Finnabair vous montre ses secrets toutes les semaines dans un rubrique appelée "Art Recipe" ? Le Creative Gym Exercice ce mois-ci est très simple : Inspirez-vous d'une de ses recettes. Et celui que j'ai choisi est : Flames of Love.

Have you noticed that lovely Finnabair is giving so much inspiration on weekly basis in the form of tutorials called “Art Recipes”? This month the Creative Gym Exercice is really simple : use a recipe to get you going!  And the one I choose is: Flames of Love.

J'ai préparé ma toile avec du Gesso noir. J'ai ensuite ajouté un motif avec de la pâte à craqueler blanche. Puis j'ai ajouté mes embellissements que j'ai fixé avec du gel mat 3D.

I primed the canvas with black Gesso. Then I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. Next I added the embellishments that I glued with 3D Matte Gel. 

Après avoir laissé sécher, j'ai tout recouvert de Gesso noir.

Once dry, I covered everything with Black Gesso.

Une fois le Gesso sec, j'ai travaillé avec diverses Silks pour donner de la couleur et j'ai donné la touche finale avec l'Iridescent Gold pour apporter de la lumière à l'ensemble.

When the Gessso was dry, I worked with differents Silks to give some color and I give the finishing touch with the Iridescent Gold to give some light.

Maulevrier - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une photo du Parc Oriental de Maulèvrier (Maine-et-Loire - France).

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a photo taken in the Oriental Park of Maulévrier (Maine-et-Loire, France).

J'ai commencé par coller ensemble deux papiers de la collection Ska vi ta en fika. J'ai ensuite ajouté un motif avec de la pâte à craqueler or et un pochoir qui rappelle le miroitement de l'eau.

I started by gluing together two papers of the Sva vi ta en fika collection. Then I added a design with gold crackle paste and a stencil that remind of the glittering of the water.

Une fois la pâte à craqueler sèche, j'ai utilisé des Ecolines pour colorer le fond dans des teintes de verts et de brun.

When the crackle paste was dry, I used some Ecoline to color the background in different shades of green and brown.

J'ai utilisé des peintures Silks pour colorer les différents feuillages. Pour les fleurs, j'ai travaillé avec des Twinkling H2O.

I used some Silks paints o color the different leaves. For the flowers, i worked with the Twinkling H2Os.

J'ai dédoublé les ailes des libellules pour leur donner plus de légèreté. Une fois les ailes sèches, j'ai couvert le corps de pâte Graphite et les ailes, peintes avec des Twinkling H2O, de Crackle Accent.

I split the dragonly's wings to give them more litghness. When the wings were dry, I covered the body with the graphite paste and the wings, painted with Twinkling H2O, were covered with crackle accent.
