Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une page publiée dans le n° 63 d'Histoires de Pages.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a layout published in Histoires de Pages n°63.

J'ai commencé par appliquer une couche de gel medium mat pour protéger mon papier. A l’aide d’un rouleau encreur, j’ai applique du gesso blanc et une pointe d’orange.

I started to apply a matte gel medium to protect the paper. Then I added a thin layer of white gesso and some orange Silks with a brayer. 

J’ai recouvert les chipboards de gesso noir et de touche de Mica Powder Rust, sauf un que j’ai coloré directement avec une Twinkling H2O et le même Mica Powder. J’ai coloré les fleurs avec les Twinkling H2Os.

I covered the chipboards with black gesso and some Rust Mica Powder, except one which I colored with a Twinkling H2O and the same Mica Powder. I colored the flowers with some Twinkling H2Os too.

J’ai complété le fond de la page avec des Bistres Vert et Bleu pour rappeler les reflet de l’eau

I added some blue and green bisters to the background to remind the water reflection.

J’ai utilisé du gel 3D mat pour coller les embellissements.

I used a 3D matte gel to glue all the embellishments.

J’ai terminé par quelques tamponnages et taches

I finished with some random stamping and splatters.

Fairie's Cards - 49 and Market DT

J'ai deux cartes chevalets à vous faire découvrir que j'ai faites avec la collection Flower Fairies de 49 and Market. J'ai choisi de faire des cartes très simples par que je voulais que les fées restent le point focal.

I have two easel cards to share made with the Flower Fairies of Spring collection from 49 and Market. I kept the design of the two cards really simple as I want the fairies to be the focused point.

J'ai utilisé le papier Lost Postcard pour la première carte.

I worked with the Lost Postcard paper for the first card.

J'ai découpé quelques fleurs pour donner un peu de relief et et j'ai juste ajouter quels fleurs Canvas and Burlap Small.  J'ai utlisé l'une d'elle pour garder la carte ouverte.

I fussy cut some of the flowers to give some extra texture and I just added some of the Canvas and Burlap Small Blooms. One of them was used to keep the card open.

Pour cette carte, j'ai choisi le papier Wind Flower.

This card was realised with the Wind Flower paper.

J'ai découpé le papier du dessus, puis je l'ai collé avec des mousses 3D. Puis j'ai découpé la jolie fée ainsi que quelques papillons.

I die-cut the first layer and glue it with a lot of 3D foam square. Then I fussy cut the beautiful fairy as well as some butterflies.

J'ai terminé la carte avec de la peinture 3D nacrée.

I finished the card with a 3D pearlescent paint.
