Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une page réalisée avec la collection Vintage Summer Basics. J'ai choisi une photo prise lors de mon séjour à Prague du Mémorial aux victimes du Communisme. Il a été réalisé par le sculpteur tchèque Olbram Zoubek. C'est vraiment une très beau mémorial.

J'ai commencé par protéger le papier de fond avec du gesso transparent. J'ai mélangé de la pâte à craqueler cuivre et la pâte brune du set Rust Effect Paste. J'ai utilisé ce mélange et un pochoir pour ajouter un motif. Je ne m'attendais pas à ce que la pâte craquèle puisque je l'avais mélange à une autre pa^t, jesouhaité juste obtenir une pâte qui avait un aspect similaire au statues de la photo.
First, I primed the background with clear gesso. I mixed together some copper crackle paste with the brown Rust effect paste. I used the mix with a stencil to add a design and I let dry. I didn't expect the crackle to appear as I mixed the crackle paste with another paste. I just want to obtain a paste looking like the statues in the photo.
Pendant que la pâte séchée, j'ai découpé des rouages dans du papier aquarelle. Je les ai altérés avec les sets Rust Effet Paste et Patina Effect Paste. J'adore le résultat.
While the paste was drying, I die cut some gears in a watercolor. I altered them with the Rust Effect paste set and the Patina Effect paste set. I just love the result.

J'ai appliqué une encre Distress sur le bout des pétales et je les ai vaporisé d'eau.

J'ai ajouté des tâches sur le fond avec diverses peintures. Puis j'ai coupé des papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé l'ensemble des embellissements.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des micro-billes.
