Timeless - Layout for 49 And Market DT

Aujourd'hui je suis le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle vidéo. J'ai choisi une photo de la Tour Eiffel prise à la fin de l'automne quand les feuilles commencent à tomber, quand toutes les couleurs semblent être de nuances de gris ... J'ai utilisé la super collection Vinatge Artistry Wedgewood.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new video tutorial. I chose a photo of the Eiffel Tower taken in the end of Autumn when the leaves start to fall when all the colors seem to be a shade of grey ... I used the beautiful Vintage Artistry Wedgewood collection.

Avant de protéger le fond (Sunset - Va Wedgewood) avce du gesso transparent, j'ai tamponné ici et là avec le set Rations et une encre Archival grise.

Before priming the background (Sunset - VA Wedgewood) with clear gesso, I stamped randomly with the Rations set and a grey Archival ink.

Pendant que le gesso transparent séchait, j'ai préparé des feuilles et des branches. Je voulais des éléments qui rappelleny qui rappellent la couleur du arbre sans feuille comme ceux de la photo. J'ai découpé des feuilles dans un papier noir que j'ai vaporisé avec de l'encre et de la peinture argent. J'ai également découpé des feuilles  et des branches dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai coloré les branches avec des encres noires argent et marron. 

While the clear gesso was drying, I prepared some leaves and branches. I want to have elements that remind the color of nude trees like the ones in the photo. I die cut some leaves in a black paper sprayed with silver ink and paint. I die cut also a few branches and leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored the branches with black silver and brown inks. 

Je voulais quelques feuilles aux couleurs de l'automne qui rappellent les couleurs du manège de la photo. J'ai donc cooré quelques feuilles avec des encres vertes et orange. 

I wanted to have a few leaves with Autumn colors, that will remind the colors of the merry-go-round from the photo. So I colored the leaves with green and orange inks. 

J'ai ajouté un motif avec de la pâte de papier et un pochoir sur le fond. Pendant que la pâte était en core humide, je l'ai saupoudré de poudre à embosser corail que j'ai embossé.

I added a design with a stencil and paper paste to the background. While the paste was still wet, I sprinkled it with a coral embossing powder and heated set the powder. 

J'ai superposé des élements du lot Wedgewood Ephemera et des cadres cousus Corail sous la photo. Puis, j'ai jouté des Wildflowers et des Sugar Posies autour de la photo ainsu que les découpes que j'ai préparé. Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des glitters, des sequins et des microbilles. 

I layered Wedgewood Ephemera and Coral Stitched Frames under the photo. Next, I added Wildflowers and Sugar Posies around the photo with the die-cut elements I've prepared. To finish the layout I add glitters, sequins, and microbeads.

Trust Your Heart - Mixed media layout for 49 and Market

Aujourd'hui, j'ai un nouveau tutoiel video à partager avec vous. J'ai rélisé une page hivernale avec la collection Vintage Artistry Coral.

Today I have a new video tutorial to share with you. I make a wintery layout with the Vintage Artistry Coral. 

Processus / Basic process: 

1. Tamponner ici et là avec les set de tampons Always Together, In Between et Captured Adventures 2 ;
   Stamp randomly with Always Together, In Between, and Captured Adventures set 2;
   
   
   
   
   
2. Protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent ; 
   Protect the background with clear gesso;
3. Ajouter un motif avec un pochoir Gothic et de la pâte à craqueler argent ;
   Add a design with a stencil Gothic and Silver crackle paste;
   
   
   
   
   
4. Découper des flocons dans du papier aquarelle et les embosser avec la poudre Magic Moon Pearl;
   Die-cut some snowflakes in a watercolor paper and emboss them with Magic Moon Pearl EP;
5. Découper également quelques baies et branches dans du papier épais noir, les colorer avc Gag Me With a Spoon, et les embosser avec la poudre Clearly Clear ;
   Die-cut some berries and branches in a black cardstock, color them with Gag Me With a Spoon, and emboss them with Clearly Clear EP;
   
   
   
   
   
6. Coller tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D Matte ;
   Glue everything with 3D Matte Gel;
   
   
   
   
   
7. Ajouter des sequins et des glitters ;
   Add sequins and glitters;
8. Ajouter une touche finale avec des Wishing Bubbles.
   Add a final touch with a few Wishing Bubbles.

Vintage Artistry Cards with their mailing boxes - 49 and Market DT

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new tutorial video. Do you want to learn how to make this set of cards with their mailing boxes?

Après avoir coupé deux papiers du pack 6x6 VA Natural, j'ai distressé les petits morceaux de papier que j'ai collé sur les plus gros. J'ai éaglement ajouté quelques élements découpés dans les feuilles de découpes du bloc 6x6. J'ai ajouté de la couleur avec la poudre Martina's Marigold. 

I cut two papers from the VA Natural 6x6 pack. I distress the small piece of paper and glue it on top of the big one. I layered also some elements I've cut from the 6x6 cut-out sheets. I added some color with Martina's Marigold.

Puis, j'ai ajouté quelques Sugar Posies Butterscotch. Pour finir, j'ai ajouté des sequins. 

Next, I added some Butterscotch Sugar Posies. To finish I added some sequins. 

Les boites ont été découpés dans deux feuilles A4 de Kraft (201 g): couper chaque feuille en deux morceaux , le premier de 7"1/2 x 5"5/8, le second de 7"5/8 x 5"3/4. Puis plier chaque côté à 3/4". Enfin couer les coins et coller.

The boxes were cut out from an A4 kraft paper (210 g): cut the two pieces one at 7"1/2 x 5"5/8 and the second at 7"5/8 x 5"3/4. Then score each side at 3/4. Finally cut at each corner and glue.

J'ai choisi de ne pas décorer les boites parce que je les utilise pour protéger les cartes quand je les posterai. Je ne sais comment cela fonctionne dans les autres pays, mais en France, comme en Europe je pense, quand un paquet fait moins de 3 cm de haut, c'est considéré comme une lettre et non comme un paquet. Donc je les laisse vierge pour pouvoir y écrire directement l'adresse et les envoyer telles quels.  MAis bien sûr, vous pouvez les décorer si vous le souhaitez.

I didn't decorate the box because I use them to protect the card when I will mail it. I don't know how it works in other countries, but here in France, and I think it's the same in Europe at least, when the packet is less than 3 cm high, it's considered as a letter and not as a package. So I leave them bare, so I can write on the bow the address and mail it like this. But of course, you can decorate the box as well.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new video tutorial where I show you how to make this romantic layout. I worked with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Lilac collection and with flowers from the Sugar series.

Processus / Basic process:

1. Choisir quelques papiers du lot Vintage Artistry Natural Ephemera Stack, couper les en bands, et coller les sur le papier de fond.
   Choose some papers from the Vintage Artistry Natural Ephemera Stack, cut them into strips, and glue to the background paper.
2. Ajouter des washi tapes Vintage Artistry Lilac et de la dentelle.
   Add Vintage Artistry Lilac washi tape too and lace.
3. Protéger le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent et les bandes de papier avec du gesso blanc.
   Prime the background with clear gesso and white gesso to the paper strips to blend.
4. Tamponner ici et là avec le tampon Springtime Harmony.
   Stamp randomly with the Springtime Harmony stamp.
   
5. Ajouter du texte à l'aide d'un pochoir et de gesso noir.
   Add some text with a stencil and black gesso.
6. Ajouter un motif avec de la pâte à craqueler blanche et un pochoir.
   Add a design with white crackle paste and a stencil.
   
   
7. Colorer les fleurs (Supar Posies et Sugar Stems) avec les encres Tea Pot Purple et Pop Rock Purple.
   Color the flowers with Tea Pot Purple and Pop Rock Purple inks.
8. Découper quelques baies, feuilles, branches et fleurs dans du papier aquarelle.
   Die-cut some berries, leaves, branches, and flowers in a watercolor paper.
9. Colorer les baies avec les encres Pop Rock Purple et Green with Envy Green.
   Color the berries with Pop Rock Purple and Green with Envy Green inks.
   
10. Colorer les feuilles avec les encres Green with Envy Green et Aloha Avocado.
    Color the leaves with Green with Envy Green and Aloha Avocado inks.
11. Colorer les branches avec Violaceous Violet.
    Color the branches with Violaceous Violet.
    
   
12. Choisir quelques éléments de la feuille bonus de découpe laser pour ajouter à la composition.
    Choose some elements from the bonus laser cut to add to the composition
13. Une fois tous les éléments collés avec du gel 3D mat, ajouter des mica flakes, des sequins et des microbilles.
    When all the elements are glued with 3D Matte Gel, add mica flakes, sequins, and microbeads.
14. Pour finir la mise en page, ajouter les découpes de fleurs colorées avec les encres Tea Pot Purple et Violaceous Violet.
    To finish the layout, add the die-cut flowers colored with Tea Pot Purple and Violaceous Violet inks.
