Halloween Shadow - ATC boxes for Dusty Attic DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a set of Halloween ATC shadow boxes. 

I primed all the ATC Shadow Boxes with black gesso. Next, I added Graphite paste inside the boxes and clear crackle paste on the outside. When dry, I highlight the crackles with silver wax.
I painted the Web Corner #2, the Zombies Hands, the Mini Pumpkins, the Mini Headstones, the Mini Potion Bottles, and the Gothic Fretwork Small with Linen Impasto that I mixed with more or less black gesso. The spider, the bats, and the base of the Candlesticks were covered with black gesso. 

Cemetery: On the Small Crocked Fence #2, I used the Rust Effect Paste set. I add some green paste on the Mini Headstones to mimic the moss. I added some moss at the bottom of the Shadow Box, then the Headstones and the Zombies hand, and finally, the crocked Fence.

Pumpkins: I colored the Mini Pumpkins with orange and brown liquid acrylic. I covered the base of the Candlestick with Old Silver wax. I covered the spider with Glossy Accent and a touch of gold wax. I glued the candlesticks in the background, the pumpkins, and finally the web with the spider. 

Magic potions: I covered all the bottles with clear crackle pastes. When they were completely dry, I added some colors to the bottom of the potion bottles. I glued them inside the shadow box and added some lichen. To finish, I add the Gothic Fretwork and bats that I covered with 

To finish all the shadow boxes, I added black glitter.

Today I'm up on Mixed Media Place with a new set of ATCs four the new Creative Gym challenge.

Le thème est très simple : Liberté

The theme is so simple : Freedom 

J'ai commencé par appliquer une couche de gesso sur le fond. Avant qu'il ne soit sec, je l'ai tamponné pour y laisser une empreinte.

I applied a thick layer of gesso on the background. Before it was dried, I stamped it in order to leave a print.

Pendant que le fond séché, j'ai tamponné le coeur, je l'ai peint avec une peinture Silk Carmin, puis recouvert de pâte à craqueler transparente. J'ai utilisé un emballage plastique pour faire les ailes, dont j'ai ciré les bords après les avoir mis en forme.

While the background was drying, I stamped the heart, I painted it with Carmin Silks, then I covered it with clear Crackle Paste. I recycled a plastic packaging to make the wings, heat them to give them the form I wanted and added gold wax to the edges.

Pour colorer le fond, j'ai travaillé avec des Mica Powders et des Primary Elements fixés avec un fixatif.

To color the background, I used Mica Powders and Primary Elements and I fixed them wit a fixatif. 

J'ai terminé par quelques Mica Flakes et Glass Glitter or.

I finished with gold Mica Flakes and Glass Glitters.

ATCs - Mixed Media Place DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Mixed Media Place avec le reste de l'équipe pour le nouvel exercice des Creative Gym.

Today I'm on Mixed Media Place blog with the team for a new exercice of the Creative Gym.

Tusia est l'hôte de ce challenge et l'exercice qu'elle propose est très simple : créer une carte de Noël, un tag ou des ATC (seules les petites tailles sont autorisées).
Je dois vous avouer que cela a été un vrai exercice pour moi, puisque ce sont mes tous premiers ATCs. J'ai vraiment aimé les faire et je pense que vous aurez encore l'occasion d'en voir sur mon blog.

Tusia is hosting the challenge and the exercice she proposed is quite simple: create a Xmas card, tag or ATC (only small forms are allowed).
I have to tell you that this was a real exercice for me, as those are the first ATCs I've ever made.
I really enjoy doing them and I think that you will see more of them in the future.

J'ai réaliser les trois ATCs (Artist Trading Card)nen même temps. Tout d'abord j'ai recouvert le papier aquarelle de Gesso épais blanc. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté des étoiles avec de la pâte à craqueler or et un pochoir et j'ai laissé sécher naturellement.

I made the three ATCs together. First I covered the background paper (watercolor paper) with White Heavy Gesso. When dry, I had a star design with Gold Crackle Paste and let it try naturally.

 

J'ai ajouté ensuite de la couleur à l'aide de Primary Element mélangé avec de l'eau. Une fois sec, j'ai souligné les étoiles avec un fusain.

Then I added some color with Primary Element mixed with water. When dry, I outlined the stars with a charcoal pen. 

Après avoir collé les embellissements avec du gel medium 3D, j'ai ajouté de la pâte à craqueler ransparente ici et là. Et j'ai laissé séché naturellement.

After I have glued all the embellishments with 3D Matte Gel, I added some Clear Crackle here and there. And I let it dry again.

J'ai passé de la poudre de mica or sèche sur la pâte à craqueler or pour faire ressortir les craquelures. Puis j'ai ajouté des glitters et des micro-billes avec du gel medium mat.

I brushed the gold Mica Powder on top of the Clear crackle paste to highlight the cracks. Then I added some Glitters, Glass Glitters and Micro Beads with the Soft Matte Gel.

Pour terminer les ATCs j'ai simplement encré les bords avec de l'encre Distress marron.

To finished the ATCs I just inked the edges with a brown Distress ink.
