Kaleidoscope Cards for 49 and Market DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a simple set of cards created with both Color Swatch Charcoal and  Kaleidoscope collections. 

I cut the two cards in a sheet of the Essential White Cardstock. The dimensions of the cards are 20 x 15 (Portrait) cm and 10x30 cm (Landscape), then folded in half.

I chose one sheet of paper from the 6x8 Charcoal Pack, and cut two pieces of paper 9,5 x 14,5 cm. 

I selected a few Laser Cut Elements and Ephemera Bits from the Kaleidoscope collection to add on top.

I added a couple of Wild Flowers to the portrait card but kept the landscape card relatively flat.

Nutcracker Cards - Xmas Card Set for Lindy's Gang

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a set of Christmas cards. 

I colored the background with Penguin Play Periwinkle and Iceberg Azure. 

For one of the cards, I used the traditional method to stam the background, I used Black Archival ink. 

For the other two I sprayed the stamp with the Narval Navy, I stamped twice on a blank paper to remove any excess ink, then stmped on my card. The result is a delicate and faded image tone on tone. I love the result.

I colored some berries with Blushing Polar Bear and Snowy Tundra Sunset as well as some of the flowers. For the pine branches, I used both Iceberg Azure and C'est la Vie Cerise inks.

I covered the resin nutcrackers with Sterling Foundry wax, then with Soot and Ash Grey Antiquing waxes.

To finish, I added glitter, sequins, and some pearls.

Masculine Card Set for Dusty Attic DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a set of cards. The new Industrial Clusters are just perfect to make cards, if you haven't seen them yet, you can find them here.

For the background, I chose to work on a piece of canvas. I spray teal and gray sprays. Next, I added a design with Graphite Paste and Metal Plate Stencil.

I sprayed all the Industrial Cluster #2 and #6 along with the Broken Bits #6 with Black Soot Distress Oxide. 

Next, I added silver and gold waxes. 

When all the elements were glued, I added some Salvaged Patina. Then I decided to add some Carmine as well to add some color.

To finish, I just add some microbeads and glass glitters.

Masculine Card for Lindy's Gang DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a masculine card. 

Basic Process:

1. Cut a piece of canvas the size of your card. Here I used a 10 x 20.5 cm.
2. Color the background with Midnight Rendez-Vous and Black Hole Black Magicals and Frozen Jack Frost Starbust;
3. With a stencil and Distress Glaze, add a design;
   
   
   
   
4. Add more Black Hole Back to the canvas: the design will appear like magic;
5. When dry, add a design with a second stencil and Light Modeling paste;
6. Sprinkle with Chip Off the Old Black and heat emboss;
   
   
   
   
7. Prime the chipboard with white gesso and color them with Bombshell Black and Sandra Dee Sepia;
8. Sprinkle the chipboards with Chip Off the Old Black and heat embosss;
   
   
   
   
9. Prime the resin gears with clear gesso and paint them Black Hole Black and Sandra Dee Sepia mix with Liquid Fluid Medium;
   
   
   
   
10. Glue the canvas on a cardboard, then the elements of your composition;
11. To finish, add rust effect with Canna Lily Burnt Orange Magical.

Happy New Year Cards for Lindy's Gang DT

I wish you all a Happy New Year! May all your wishes come true! And I hope that we will be able to find a solution to live with the COVID and have our life back!

So here I am with a few cards to wish a Happy New Year!

Here is our colorful January combo. 

These cards are really simple to make. I used a piece of watercolor paper on which I added a design with a stencil and Vintage Gold wax. Next, I added some colors with Bling-y Blonde, Time Travel Teal, Hi Maintenance Magenta.

I cut the watercolor paper into strips, waxed the edges, and glued them on the cards. I embossed the snowflake with Gimme Five Gold EP. 

The heart is not visible, but inside each card, I added a sentiment along with a heart.

Mixed media card for 49 and Market DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a set of mixed media cards. I used the Remnants mini collection with Ephemera and laser-cut from the Vintage Artistry Wedgewood collection.

I cut the Tapestry paper into four rectangles: two 15 x 15 cm and two smaller (14,5 x 14,5 cm).  Before gluing the smaller piece on top of the bigger, I die cut some flowers in the middle.

Next, I added some Rust Effect paste with a pallet knife. I add a piece of vellum paper that I've stamped with the Springtime Harmony stamp.  I added also a design with modeling paste and a stencil.

I added some elements from the Everyday Ephemera Stack and from the bonus laser-cut from the Remnants mini collection. I added also the die cuts I've made previously and frames that I embossed with a verdigris EP.  The butterflies came from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Bonus laser-cut. The sentiments came from the strip at the bottom of the Tapestry page.

When happy with the composition, I added more colors with green and orange liquid acrylic that match the colors of the different elements. To finish, I added some glitter.
