There's magic in the air - Layout for Dusty Attic DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a new layout inspired by the October mood board. I used a photo from the talented Christina Fisher. Follow the link to look at her magical photos.

Here is the moodboard.

You still have a few day left to play with us and get the chance to win a 50 AUD$ price.

First I add two designs on the background with two stencils and paper paste. When dry, I colored the background with inks.

I primed all the chipboards with white gesso. I colored the Pumpkins with Toger Orange and Burnt Sienna liquid acrylic.

I colored the Foliage #22 and #27, the Swirly Vines #5, the Tea Leaves with Advaocado and Umber liquid acrylic. I added bronze wax on some of them.

I colored the flowers and change the center.

To finish, I added some glitter.

Beware of witches - Mixed media canvas for Dusty Attic DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a new Halloween project.

I glued a paper tissue on the canvas. Next, I added two designs with Graphite paste and two stencils. When dry, I colored the background with Whale Watch Blue and Hockey Puck Black

I primed all the chipboards with white gesso, except the spiders and the frame which I primed with black gesso. I added a tiny amount of black to the white gesso to give a lightly gray tone to the Samll Zombie hands and the Small Gothic Fretwork.

I mixed white crackle paste with black gesso to obtained a gray crackle paste that I used to cover the Headstones and the stone from Cemetery Gates #1 Small. For the grid, I used the Rust effect paste set.

For the Potion Bottles I colored them lightly with different shades of blue and green, then coveredthem with clear crackle paste.

I covered the spiders with Glossy accent and the Ornate Frame #3 with Raven Black sparks, then with clear crackle paste.

To finish, I added some black glitters.

I cut the Happy Dancers paper to cover the canvas.

I selected some elements from the Laser Cut Elements like the window, the heart, and the small frame.

I placed the window, the photo, then the flowers. When everything was in place, I added Salsa and Citrus tickets and stamps.
