Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de  Lindy's Gang avec un nouveau pas-à-pas inspiré des pages du Art Journal de la talentueuse Anna Dąbrowska. Le jeune homme de la photo est mon oncle.

Hello Sweeties

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new step-by-step Art Journal page inspired by the talented Anna Dąbrowska. The young man in the photo is my uncle.

J'ai commencé par coller divers éléments avec du gel medium mat : une page de livre, du washi tape, du pansement, ...
Une fois satisfaite du résultat, j'ai recouvert l'ensemble d'une fine couche de gesso blanc.

First, I glued different elements with a soft matte gel: a book page, some washi tape, fabric tape, ...
When happy with the result, I covered everything with a thin layer of white gesso.

Ensuite, j'ai tamponné ici et là avec plusieurs ampons et de l'encre permanente noire. J'ai recouvert les les tampons avec du gesso dilué.
Ensuite, j'ai utilisé un brayer pour ajouter l'encre Long John's Silver.

Next, I added some random stamping with different stamps and a black Archival ink. I covered the stamp's images with watered gesso.
I used a brayer to add the Long John's Silver ink. 

Puis, j'ai ajoutéun motif à l'ai de d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler transparente que j'ai laissé sécher naturellement. Pendant ce temps, j'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo.
La pâte séche, j'ai collé les papiers ainsi que du fil noir. J'ai recouvert les papiers de gesso transparent avant d'ajouter plus de couleur avec les encres Whale Watch Blue et C'est la vie Cerise.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and a clear crackle paste which I let dry naturally. In the meantime, I cut a few papers to add under the photo.
The paste dry, I glued the papers I've just cut as well as some black thread. I covered the papers with clear gesso. Next, I added more colors with Whale Watch Blue and C'est la vie Cerise inks.

J'ai rajouté quelques morceaux de Washi tapes qe j'ai recouvert de pâte à craqueler transparente.
Jai terminé la mise en page avec des tâches d'Enamel noir pour éviter que les tâches ne rentrent dans les craquelures.

I added more washi tape pieces that I covered which clear crackle paste. 
I finished the page with splatters of black enamel to prevent the splatters to go in the cracks.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec un nouveau pas-à-pas pour réaliser une page. J'ai choisi une photo de mon père quand il était scout en 49.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a step-by-step layout. I chose to work with a photo of my father when he was a scouts boy in 49. 

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler transparente que j'ai laissé sécher naturellement.
Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai peint quelques chipboards avec le set Camouflage Effect Paste.

First I primed the background with clear gesso. When done I added a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste and leave it to dry. 
While the crackle paste was drying, I painted some chipboards with the Camouflage Effect Paste set.

Ensuite, j'ai coloré le fond avec les sprays Treasure Island Aqua et Mystic Malachite et la poudre Rusry Lantern Lime.

Next, I colored the background with Treasure Island Aqua, Mystic Malachite, and Rusty Lantern Lime Magical.
When dry, I started to build my composition with papers and the chipboards

J'ai tamponné ici et là avec une encre Archival brune.
Puis, j'ai ajouté quelques feuilles ...

I added some random stamping with an brown Archival ink.
Next, I added some leaves ...

... que j'ai embossé avec la poudre à embosser Olive Orbit Gold.
J'ai également coloré des Art Stones avec la poudre Rusty Lantern Lime et l'encre Mystic Malachite.

... which I embossed with the Olive Orbit Gold EP.
Next, I colored some Art stones with the Magical Rusty Lantern Lime and the Mystic Malachite mist.

J'ai collé les Art Stones avec du gel mat.
Et pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai fait quelques tâches avec de la peinture noire.

I glued the Art stones with a soft matte gel.
And to finish the layout I splattered some black paint

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec un nouveau projet : un cadre tambour.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new project: a frame embroidery hoop.

J'ai commencé par mettre un morceau de tissu dans le cercle à broder que j'ai recouvert d'une couche de gesso blanc.
Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et d'une pâte à craqueler blanche que j'ai laissé sécher naturellement pour permettre aux craquelures d'apparaitre.

First I put a piece of fabric in the embroidery hoop. Then, I primed the fabric with white gesso.
When dry, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let dry naturally to allow the crackle to appear.

Avant de coller le cadre, j'ai ajouté de la cartonnette sous 3 côtés afin de pouvoir metre une photo et de pouvoir la changer.
Une fois le cadre en place, j'ai collé tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D.

Before gluing the frame, I added some cardstock to the frame on 3 sides, in order to be able to put a photo and to change if I want.
The frame in place, I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel. 

Une fois sec, j'ai peint tous les embellissments avec du gesso blanc. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté une deuxième couche.
ET maintenant il est temps d'ajouter un peu de couleur, j'ai commencé par différentes encres en spray: Tainted with Love, Whale Watch Blue et Silhouette Silver.

When dry, I painted all the embellishments with white gesso. When dry, I added a second layer.
Time to add some colors, I started with different spray inks: Tainted with Love, Whale Watch Blue ad Silhouetted Silver.

ENsuite, j'ai ajouter des Magicals : Steel Shimmer et Steampunk Sepia.
Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai tamponné ici et laà avec une encre Archival.

Next, I added some Magicals: Steel Shimmer and Steampunk Sepia.
When happy with the result, I added some random stamping with an Archival ink. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté des tâches noires. J'ai utilisé un "enamel accent" pour éviter la peinture noire de fuser dans les craquelures. puis j'ai embossé avec la poudre Twilight Blue Slate des tâches réalisées avec du gel médium dilué.

Next, I added some black splatters. I used an enamel accent to avoid the black paint to fuse in the crackles.Next, I embossed with the Twilight Blue Slate EP some splatters of soft gel, that I've watered down before.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec un pas-à-pas. J'ai choisi de tavailler dans mon Castle's Journal que k'ai commencé il y un moment déjà, mais j'ai été trop occupé pour avoir une chance de m'amuser avec. La château que j'ai choisi aujourd'hui est le château de Brézé (Vallée de la Loire, France).

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a step-by-step project. I chose to work on my Castle's Journal that I started some time ago, but I was to busy to have a chance to play with it. The castle I'm working on today is the Castle of Brézé (Loire Vallée, France)

J'ai commencé par coller des morceaux de pages avec du gel mat.
Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai recouvert toute la page avec du gesso blanc.

I started to glue some book pages with a soft matte gel. 
When happy with this first step, I covered the whole page with white gesso. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche. Je ne voulais pas un motif trop net, j'ai donc ajouté plus de pâte à craqueler à certain endroit et effacer partiellement le otif. J'ai laissé sécher naturellement pour obtenir de belles craquelures. Mais si comme moi, vos radiateurs sont allumés (c'est l'hiver ici), vous pouvez placer votre projet près du radiateur pour accélérer le processus.
C'est maintenant qu'on s'amuse : il est temps d'ajouter de la couleur. J'ai décidé d'utiliser trois couleurs de Magical. La première que j'ai utilisé est Afternoon Delight Denim, qui est conditionné dans un shaker,  j'ai saupoudré un peu de Magical là ou je voulais la couleur et je l'ai activé avec de l'eau. J'ai juste bouger un peu ma feuille pour permettre à la couleur de bouger. J'ai séché l'encre avant d'ajouter la prochaine couleur.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I didn't want the design to be too precise, so I added more crackle paste in some area and in doing so, remove some of the design. And let it dry naturally in order to obtain some nice cracks. If like me your heater is on (it's winter in France), you can place your project near the heater to sped up the process.
And now the fun really began: time to add some color. I decided to use three colors of Magical. The first one I applied was the Afternoon Delight Denim that came in a Magical Shaker, I sprinkled some Magical where I want the color and sprayed some water to activate it. I just move my page to help the color to move. I dried the ink before adding the next color.

Ensuite j'ai ajouté Grab a Guy Gold, qui comme la précédente est en shaker. Pour ajouter Steampunk Sepia, j'ai utilisé mon pinceau pour saupoudrer la poudre là où je la souhaitais et j'ai vaporisé avec de l'eau. UNe fois contente du résultat, j'ai tout séché avec mon heat gun.
J'ai embossé des morceaux de chipboard avec la poudre Twilight Blue Slate.

Next, I added some Grab a Guy Gold Magical, which like the previous came in a shaker. To add the Steampunk Sepia, I used my brush to add the Magical powder where I wanted to be and sprayed with water. When I was happy with the result, I dried everything with my heat gun.
I embossed some pieces of chipboard with the Twilight Blue Slate EP.

J'ai tamponné ici et là. Et pour finir le fond j'ai ajouté des tâches noires.
Ensuite, j'ai ajouté de la dentelle, des pages de livres, du sachet de thé et des embellissements métalliques sans oublié la photo. Et voilà !

I added some random stamping. And to finish the background I added also some black splatters.
Next, I added some lace, book's page, tea bag, and some metal embellishments without forgetting the photo. And that's it!
