Get lost to find yourself - Layout for 49 and Market

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Wanderlust Explorer collection.

I selected Solid Sheet 3 as the background. For the base of the composition, I chose to work on a page from the 6x8 pack (Scenic Route). The paper's colors were so similar to those of the photo that I decided to add a piece of a darker color (Voyage Log). 

I selected some Die-Cut frames, stamps, and compass roses to add under the photo and stamps. 

I chose a few Laser Cut elements as well like the luggage, the map, the compass, the passport, the camera ... The details of those laser-cut elements are just amazing. 

To keep the composition romantic, I selected a few laser-cut flowers.

I selected two Chipboard Words as my title.

As always the fact that I used a 6x8 page means that I can keep the layout as a page for my Art Journal.

Today I'm on 49 and Market blog with a new page for my art Journal Binder.

I chose a paper from the 6x8 Birdsong paper pack that corresponds to the harmonious Symphony paper 

I selected a couple of frames and a doily from the Birdsong Laser cut Elements as the base of the composition. Then I chose some tickets from the Ephemera Bits from the Birdsong collection. 

I added some wildflowers Laser Cut in the background, a phonograph, and a small frame. 

I added a few Laser Cut stamps and some Colored Postage Washi from the Spectrum Gardenia collection.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new page from my Memory Journal. I used as the focal point a photomontage I made a few years ago.

To start, I glued a piece of the Lace Washi Tape in Hickory. Then, I chose two sheets from the Color Swatch Toast Collage sheets, which I tore before I glued them.

Next, I added different rub-ons from the CS Toast and the Stone Essential Textblends.

Finally,  I added two tickets from the Toast Envelope Bits to add under the photo.

To finish it I added the title.

Those who don't believe ... - Art Journal page for 49 and Market DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with an Art Journal page. It has been a while since I've made an Art Journal page. I have this Memory Journal calling for me. I decided it was time for me to create something in it. I love fantasy books and movies, so there is no wonder that I love the universe of Carnival Row. And here it is.

I started to layer different colors of green paint on the background with a brayer.

Next, I glued a few pieces of Eucalyptus Collage Sheets. I added Spectrum Sherbet Tidal Wave rub-ons around the papers. I also added some music notes rub-ons from the Essentials Music Blends to remind the story of one of the characters.

To finish the background, I layered some White Pearl metallic paint to tone down the color and blend everything together.

I selected a few Ephemera Bits from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility collection to add under the photo. Of course, I had to add to some Filmtrips as the page was about a movie.

This Memory Journal is awesome. the quality of the paper in the notebook is perfect. And it won't be the last page you will see! Keep in mind that this is a limited edition, so feel free to buy one while there is one.

Today I'm on Lindy's Gang blog with a page from my Mini Art Journal. 

J'ai suivi le superbe combo de couleurs du mois d'août.


I follow the beautiful combo of color for August.

J'ai coloré le fond avec less encres T-Bird urquoise et Creme Brulee Cream. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motif avec de la pâte de papier et un pochoir. Pendant que la pâte était encore humide, je l'ai saupoudré de poudre Scotch Broom Yellow que j'ai embossé.

I colored the background with T-Bird Turquoise and Creme Brulee Cream inks. Next, I added a design with paper paste and a stencil. While the paste was still wet, I sprinkled the paste with the Scotch Broom Yellow EP which I heat embossed.

J'ai découpé quelques algues fans du paper aquarelle, que j'ai embossé avec la poudre Twilight Jade Slate.

I die cut some seaweeds in a watercolor paper that I embossed with the Twilight Jade Slate EP.

J'ai ajouté quelques étoiles de mer, du filet, et enfin la photo.

I added a few starfishes, some fishnet, then I added the photo. 

Pour finer ma page, j'ai ajouté des glitters.

To finish my page, I added with glitters.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new page from my Art Journal dedicate to the castles of the Loire Valley. It has been a while since I worked into it.

Et voici le combo de couleurs deu mois d'avril



And here is the color combo for April:

J'ai commencé par coller avce du gel medium mat des morceaux de papier sur le fond pour donner de la texture. Une fois sec, j'ai recouvert l'ensemble d'une fine couche de gesso blanc. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâtes à craqueler blanche et transparente

First, I covered the background with paper scraps to add some texture. When dry, I added a thin layer of white gesso. Next, I added a design with a stencil and two crackle pastes, one white, the other clear.

Une fois sec, j'ai coloré le fond de ma page avec les encres Pink Ladies Pink, Loonie Toonie Teal et Polite People Purple. Après avoir séché le tout, j'ai fondu les couleurs ensemble avec l'encre Hockey Puck Black.

When dry, I colored the background with Pink Ladies Pink, Loonie Toonie Teal, and Polite People Purple. I dried everything, then I blended all the colors together with Hockey Puck Black. 

J'ai reblanchi le fond entre les motifs avec l'Impasto blanche. Puis j'ai tamponné ici et là avec un tampon texte.

I whitened the space between the designs with white Impasto. Next, I stamped randomly with a text stamp.

J'ai coloré quelques chipboards avec les mêmes encres, vieilli quelques papiers avec l'encre Long Jonh's Silver. Après avoir collé les divers éléments, j'ai délicatement doré les motif et les chipboards avec une cire or.

I colored a few chipboards with the sam inks, distressed some papers wit Long John's Silver ink. When everything was glued, I gilded lightly the designs and the chipboards with gold wax.

Pour terminer la page, j'ai ajouté des glass glitter et des microbilles.

To finish the page, I added some microbeads and glass glitter.
