Wild Child - Mixed media panel for 49 and Market DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new mixed media layout featuring the Vintage Artistry Teal collection. I worked with another beautiful photo from Christina Fisher.

I decided to play with our December sketch which I've flipped.

Instead of adding paper strips on the side, I decided to add a design with different pastes. I chose a stencil with snowflakes and Platinum Crackle paste, Vintage Gold Icing paste. The last paste I used was a mix of Crushed Ice paste with a teal magical.

I've die-cut different leaves and pine branches in watercolor paper. I colored them with brown and teal inks.

I selected a few tickets from both the Vintage Artistry Teal and Natural Ephemera Stacks. To add under the photo, I chose two small VA Essentials Rectangle Stitched Frames. I've also die-cut some snowflakes that I embossed with Silver Moon Turquoise EP.

I found that the White Heron Rustic Bouquet flowers were a little bit too white, so I used a gold mica spray to add some shine.

To finish, I added some glitters and pearls.

Dream without fear - Mixed media panel for Lindy's Gang DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new mixed media panel. I worked with the amazing new set of colors Enchanted Forest designed by Nuneka and Frau Pony.

Basic process:
  1. Select different papers and glue them on the panel;
  2. Blend the papers with a thin layer of white gesso;
  3. Color the background with Fairy Garden Green, Toadstool, and Dragonfly Denim.
  4. Mix some Dragonfly Denim and Lara's Wild Malve Magicals with clear crackle paste. Used this paste to add the first design;
  5. Mix some Toadstool Taupe Magical with Crushed Ice paste, do the same with the Fairy Garden Green Magical. Use these two pastes to add the second design;
  6. Alter a resin frame: Cover it with black gesso. Before it was completely dry, remove the gesso from the reliefs with a paper towel. Next, cover the frame with Vintage Antiquing paste, and again remove the excess with a paper towel. Finish the frame with Rich Copper and Stained Wood waxes;
  7. Glue the elements of your composition with a 3D gel.
  8. Color the flowers and the leaves with Dragonfly Denim, Lara's Malve Malve, Gnome Berry Bordeaux, and Toadstool Taupe;
  9. Add some Golden Dragon Unicorn paste and glitter;
  10. To finish, add some pearls.
I hope you will enjoy the video:

Profiter de l'instant présent - Mixed media panel for Dusty Attic DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog wit a new mixed media panel.

I glued a piece of tissue paper on the lower half of the panel. Next, I added a design with modeling paste and the Flourish stencil. Finally, I pait the upper half of the panel with Dark Chocolate and Eggplant Impasto.

I primed all the embellishments chipboards, resin and metallic elements, with black gesso. When done, I glued them with a few branches to the panel.

I painted the embellishments with different metallique paints from dark purple to dark gold to add different shades. When dry, I highlighted some details from the background and from the embellishments with Aged Brass, White Gold, and White Pearl waxes.

I painted the title from the French Worpl@y # with the Black Berry paints and I added some waxes as well. I added also a few leaves die-cut in a kraft cardboard.

I painted some pebbles with the dark gold. To finish, I added some glitters, microbeads, and mica flakes.

Gypsie Girl - Mixed media layout for Dusty Attic DT

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a mixed media layout inspired by the beautiful color combo of December.

Aren't the colors of this combo just amazing?

I stamped with different Archival inks and stamps before priming the background with clear Gesso. Next, I added a design with the Flourish stencil and paper paste.

When dry, I colored the design area with different liquid acrylic paints and Magical.

I primed all the chipboards with white gesso before painting them. I used Carmine to paint the Floral Fantasy and the berries from the Branches and Berries. I painted the leaves with Burnt Sienna and Ochre. Then, I heat embossed Foliage #23 with Byzantine Bronze EP and Foliage #27 with Gilded Burgundy Brass EP.

I colored the beige Sugar Posies with Nude liquid acrylic paint to match the color combo.

I glue all the embellishments with a 3D Matte Gel. And to finish the layout, I added some glitters.
