Today I'm up on the 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Remnant mini collection. The collection is perfect for vintage photos like this photo from Milton Greene. As usual, I've recorded the process.

Comme d'habitude, j'ai commencé par le tamponnage. Je préfére commencer par cet étape avant de protéger le  fond avec du gesso transparent pour obtenir une image plus nette. J'ai utilisé ici le tampon Springtime Harmony. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte de papier. 

As I normally did, I began with the stamping. I prefer to stamp before priming the background to obtain a crisp image of the stamp. Here, I've used the Springtime Harmony stamp. Next, I added a design with a stencil and paper paste.

J'ai recouvert quelques éléments en résine avec du gesso noir. Puis je les ai coloré avec des cires. J'ai utilisé Vintage Gold, Burgundy pour rappeler les fleurs et enfin White Gold pour mettre en évidence les détails. 

I primed some resin elements with black gesso. Next, I colored them with waxes. I used Vintage Gold, Burgundy to match the color's flowers, and White Gold to highlight the details. 

J'ai coloré les feuilles de Sugar Petals avec l'encre Pete Pegleg Purple. J'ai coloré avec la même encre et Buccaneer Bay Blue quelques découpes de feuilles faites dans du papier aquarelle. Puis, j'ai ajouté quelques morceaux de washi tape sur le fond avant de colorer le motif avce les encres Whale Watch Blue, Open Arms Amethyst et Pete Pegleg Purple.

I colored the leaves from the Sugar Petals flowers with Pete Pegleg Purple. I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper and colored them with the same ink and Buccaneer Bay Blue. Next, I teared up some washi tape that I add to the background before coloring the design with Whale Watch Blue, Open Arms Amethyst, and Pete Pegleg Purple. 

J'ai construit ma composition autour de la photo en commençant par les plus gros éléments en résine comme la montre ou la plaque de porte. Puis j'ai continué avec les fleurs, les feuilles et enfin les découpes laser de la page bonus. J'ai déchiré quelques morceaux de dentelle pour ajouter à la composition.

I built my composition around the photo, starting with the biggest resin elements like the clock or the door plate, then I arranged the flowers, the leaves, and lastly a few laser-cut elements from the bonus page. I teared up a piece of cream lacey trim to add to the composition as well.

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des sequins et des glitters.

To finish the layout, I added sequins and glitter.

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a romantic layout. 

J'ai choisi comme fond l'envers de la page de garde de la mini collection Remnants. Avant de protéger mon fond avec du gesso transparent, j'ai tamponné ici et là avec le set Tickets and Numbers. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif avec le pochoir Ledger et de la pâte à craqueler blanche.

I chose for my background the backside of the Remnant mini collection. Before priming the background with clear gesso, I stamped randomly with the Tickets and Numbers set.  Next, I added a design with the Ledger stencil and white crackle paste. 

Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai protégé tous les chipboards avec du gesso blanc. J'ai coloré les ATC Frame #6 avec le set Patina Effect.

While the paste was drying, I primed all the chipboards with white gesso. I colored the ATC Frame #6 with the Patina Effect paste.

J'ai coloré les chipboards Lavender avec la Magical Fuzzy Navel Peach et du fluide acrylique pour la rendre permanente. J'ai mélangé du gel 3D brillant avec la Magical Red Hot Poker pour ajouter du relief aux lavandes.

I colored the lavender with Fuzzy Navel Peach Magical and Liquid Fluid to make it permanent. I mixed some 3D Gloss Gel with Red Hot Poker Magical to add texture to the Lavender.

J'ai coloré les chipboards Foliage #6 et #7 avec My Mojito Green et Sea Mint Green Magicals également mélangé avec le fluide acrylique. J'ai également fait quelques fleurs en foamiran. 

I colored the Foliage #6 and #7 with My Mojito Green and Sea Mint Green Magicals mixed with Liquid Fluid too. I made some foamiran flowers as well in a matching color.

Puis, j'ai colored le fond avec les encres vertes et saumon. Puis, j'ai commencé ma composition autour de la photo.

Next, I colored the background with green and salmon inks. Then I built my composition around the photo.

Pour finir ma mise en page, j'ai ajouté des glitters et des microbilles.

To finish my layout, I added glitters and microbeads.

Mixed media card for 49 and Market DT

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a set of mixed media cards. I used the Remnants mini collection with Ephemera and laser-cut from the Vintage Artistry Wedgewood collection.

I cut the Tapestry paper into four rectangles: two 15 x 15 cm and two smaller (14,5 x 14,5 cm).  Before gluing the smaller piece on top of the bigger, I die cut some flowers in the middle.

Next, I added some Rust Effect paste with a pallet knife. I add a piece of vellum paper that I've stamped with the Springtime Harmony stamp.  I added also a design with modeling paste and a stencil.

I added some elements from the Everyday Ephemera Stack and from the bonus laser-cut from the Remnants mini collection. I added also the die cuts I've made previously and frames that I embossed with a verdigris EP.  The butterflies came from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Bonus laser-cut. The sentiments came from the strip at the bottom of the Tapestry page.

When happy with the composition, I added more colors with green and orange liquid acrylic that match the colors of the different elements. To finish, I added some glitter.

Create Art - Mixed media Panel for Dusty Attic DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Dusty Attic avec un projet mixed media dont les couleurs m'ont été inspirées par le combo de couleurs de janvier.

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a mixed media panel inspired by the beautiful colors of the January color combo. 

Et voici le combo de couleurs de Janvier proposé par Dusty Attic :

J'ai collé un papier de soie sur la base MDF prélablement recouvert de gesso blanc. Puis, j'ai couvert le papier de soie de gesso transparent.

I glued a paper collage on the HDF base that I've primed with white gesso. Next, I covered the paper with clear gesso. 

J'ai très légérement recouvert les chipboards (pinceaux, punaises, trombones, régle et timbre) de gesso blanc ainsi que le tube de peinture. J'ai coloré quelques Country Blooms avec l'encre Fuzzy Navel Peach. 

I primed the chipboards (Paintbrushes, Pins and Clips, Ruler, and, Postage Stamp) with a thin layer of white gesso. I primed a real tube of paint too. I  colored some Country Blooms with Fuzzy Navel Peach ink.

J'ai collé les embellissements avec du gel 3D mat. Une fois fini, j'ai commencé à ajouter de la couleur. J'ai coloré les pinceaux avec la peinture acrylique liquide Burnt Sienna et la Magical Karin's Coral. J'ai mélangé la peinture Turquoise avec la Magical Stormy Sky pour obtenir une couleur plus foncée, que j'ai utlisé pour coloré le tube de peinture et le bout des des pinceaux. 

I glued all the embellishments with 3D matte gel. When done, I started to add some color. I colored the paintbrushes with Burnt Sienna liquid acrylic and Karin's Coral Magical. I mixed some Deep Turquoise liquid acrylic with Stormy Sky Magical to get a darker color, and colored the paint tube and the tips of the paintbrushes. 

Après avoir tout séché, j'ai brossé à sec du gesso blanc sur l'ensemble des éléments pour faire ressortir les relief. J'ai utilisé les cires White Gold et Vintage Gold pour les éléments normalement métalliques comme la pince, les trombones et les punaises.

After drying everything, I dry brush everything with white gesso. I used the waxes White Gold and Vintage Gold for the metallic elements like the clip, the pins or the paper clips.

Pour finir la composition, j'ai ajouté des glitters. 

To finish the composition, I added some glitters.
