Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle photo de famille prise vers 1909, je suppose, vu l'âge de mon grand-père paternel et de ses deux sœurs

Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new family photo taken around 1909, I guess, in view of the age of my paternal grand-father and his two sisters.

J'ai travaillé mon fond avec du Gesso dilué, de la pâte graphite que j'ai ajouté avec un pochoir et des Twinkling H2O ...

I began my background with watered Gesso, Graphite Paste that I added with a stencil and some Twinkling H2O...

... et pour finir quelques tamponnages avec deux couleurs d'encres.

... and to finish some random stamping with two inks.

J'ai légèrement blanchi les fleurs avec du gesso blanc pour leur donner un aspect fané.

I dry brushed the flowers with white Gesso in order to give them a faded look.

J'ai peint les chipboards avec plusieurs couleurs de Twinkling H2Os avant de les couvrir de pâte à craqueler transparente.

I painted the chipboards with several colors of Twinkling H2Os before covering them with a clear crackle paste.

Et pour terminer, j'ai ajouté des Glass Glitters et des perles.

And to finish, I added some Glass Glitters and beads.

Nouveau mois, nouveau challenge chez Scrap Around the World. Et voici mon projet ...

New month means new challenge at Scrap Around the World. And here is my project ...

Et voici le magnifique tableau d'inspiration concocté par Veera Saarivuo de  Finlande qui m'a guidé pour réaliser cette page.

J'ai commencé mon fond de page en ajoutant un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte de texture. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté des dentelles, des fleurs en tissu, des boutons, des éléments en métal... Quand tous les éléments ont été placés, je les ai recouvert ainsi que le motifs d'une fine couche de Gesso. J'ai légèrement débordé sur le papier pour fondre l'ensemble.

I began my background by adding a design with a stencil and modeling paste. When dry, I added some lace, flower trims, buttons, metal connectors, ... When all the elements were in place, I covered them as well as the design with a thin layer of Gesso. I lightly went over onto the paper to blend everything together.

Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté de la couleur. J'ai utilisé des encres en spray Color Blooms et des encres Chalk.

When dry, I added some colors. I used Color Blooms sprays and Chalk Inks. 

Pour colorer les fleurs et les feuilles, j'ai utilisé des Gelatos.

To color flowers and leaves, I used the Gelatos.

J'ai ajouté une légére touche de Gesso au roses et un pointe d'or aux feuilles.

I added a light touch of Gesso to the flowers and a gold accent to the leaves.

Et pour terminer j'ai ajouté des perles, des Glass Glitters et des Art Sugar.

And to finish, I added some beads, Glass Glitters and Art Sugar.
