This bright, bold and colourful Mood Board was designed by 
Heather McMahon {Australia} 

This mood board is a riot of strong primary colours, 

but also contains some softer, organic forms as well as fundamental shapes.

Beauty in chaos - SATW DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Scrap Around the World pour notre nouveau challenge. J'ai choisi cette photo prise à Terra Botanica (Angers, France)

Hello Sweeties

Today, i'm up on Scrap Around the World's blog for our new challenge. I chose this photo taken in terra botanica (Angers, France).

Et voici le tableau d'inspiration que nous a concocté Heather McMahon, riche en couleurs et en forme de toutes sortes.

C'est le côté nature qui m'a inspiré et les couleurs que j'ai conservé mais que j'ai voulu très douces pour mettre en valeur ma photo. Les graminées en ombre rappellent le tronc de l'arbre.

And here is the colorful mood board from Heather McMahon, with organic forms as well as fundamental shapes.
It's the nature that inspired me as well as the colors which I kept soft in order to highlight my photo. The black grass remind the black shape of the tree.

J'ai commencé par appliquer du Gesso, puis de la pâte à craqueler blanche que j'ai tamponné alors qu'elle été encore humide puis lui donner un effet.


I began to apply a layer of Gesso, then white crackle paste that i stamped when it was still wet to add some texture.

Après avoir laissé sécher naturellement, j'ai appliqué différentes couleurs de Twinkling H2Os (rose, orange, bleu-vert) que j'ai atténué en ajoutant du gesso dilué.

I let dry naturally, then i applied differents colors of Twinkling H2Os (pink, orange, blue-green) that I tone down with diluted Gesso.

Après avoir ajouté quelques tamponnages d'ici delà, j'ai appliqué directement mon encreur à embosser sur ma page et j'ai saupoudré de poudre à embosser. J'ai utilisé la même poudre pour embosser les papillons.

After some random stamping, I applied my embossing pad on my layout and I sprinkled some embossing powder. I used the same one to emboss the butterflies. 

Les chipboards ont simplement été peint avec du Gesso noir. J'ai ajouté un motif avec du Gesso noir et un pochoir. J'ai terminé avec quelques micro-billes que j'ai collé avec du gel mat.

The chipboards have been painted with black Gesso. I added a design with bmlack Gesso and a stencil to the background . I finished with some micro beads that I glued with soft matte gel.
