Potentille - Green Tara DT (3/3)

Ma dernière page réalisée pour Green Tara ce mois-ci.

Hello sweeties, 

Here is my last Green Tara  layout of the month.

J'ai pris cette photo dans mon jardin, juste après une forte pluie.

I've taken this photo just after a rain shower in my garden.

Le fond de page a été travaillé avec mes Twinks après avoir collé morceaux de papier et mesh. 

Pour faire les traces jaunes en relief, j'ai mélangé du gel de structure "Natural Sand " avec un peu de Twinkling.

The background has been colored with my Twinks after having glued some paper scraps and mesh.

To make the yellow paste, I mixed some gel medium "Natural Sand" with a yellow Twinkling.. 

La couleurs des fleurs "Heirlooms" est parfaite avec les potentilles de la photo.

J'ai également ajouté des fleurs "Apple Blossom " ivoire pour donner un peu de contrast.

Et enfin pour donner un peu de légéreté à la composition, j'ai ajouté du "Skeleton Mesh".


The color of the Heirloom was a perfect match with the Potentilla.

I added also some Apple Blossom in ivory to add some contrast.

I added some Olive Skeleton Mesh that I tore apart to add some lightness.

• Aquarelles / Watercolors - Twinkling H2O (Yellow Rose, Golden Bamboo, Green Moss, Scarab Beetle, Chestnut) ;
• Gelatos - Faber Castell (Pistachio, Green Tea, Chocolate) ;
• Distress Ink - Ranger (Walnut Stain) ;
• Gel medium (Heavy Glossy) ;
• Gesso.

it’s already the moment of a new challenge at Mixed Media Place. After sadness we would like to see how Curiosity will inspire you:

J'ai choisi, pour illustrer la Curiosité, cette citation d'Albert Einstein :

« La curiosité est une petite plante délicate qui, en plus d'encouragements, a surtout besoin de liberté ». Et quoi de plus naturel que cette superbe orchidée. 

I choose a quote from Albert Einstein to illustrate the Curiosity:

"Curiosity is a delicat little plant which, aside from stimulation, stands mainly in need of freedom". And what is more appropriate than this beautiful orchid.

J'ai commencé par imprimer en miroir plusieurs fois la citation avec une imprimante laser. J’ai ensuite utilisé la méthode classique de transfert avec du gel medium pour ajouter la citation de manière aléatoire sur mon fond, comme si c’était un tampon. Une fois le gel medium sec, et après avoir enlevé toute trace de papier, j’ai pu travailler mon fond.

I started to print the quote several time with a laser printer. I used then the classic transfer method with gel medium to add randomly the quote on my background as it was a stamp. When the gel medium was dry, I removed all trace of paper and I was able to work on my background.

Après avoir collé les papiers qui seront sous la photo, j’ai ajouté du gesso avec un pochoir. Et une fois sec, j’ai coloré mon fond avec mes Twinklings. Ces petits pots de couleurs sont tout simplement addictifs ….

Et j'ai terminé avec quelques tamponnages.

After having glued the papers which would be under the photo, I added some gesso with a stencil. When dry, I colored my background with my Twinklings. These little jars of color are just addictive …. And I finished with some stamping.

Exceptionnellement, je n’ai pas ajouté de fleur, car après avoir essayé d’ajouter des embellissements divers et variés, ma page m'a plu telle quelle. Qu’en pensez-vous ?

Unusually I didn’t add any flowers on my layout. I tried to add several embellishments, but I like my layout this way. What do you think ?
