Wintery cards for Lindy's Gang DT

Je suis très heureuse de vous annoncer que je vais rester encore une année dans l'équipe créative de Lindy's Gang. Sans plus attendre, voici mon premier projet pour 2021 : un set de cartes inspirées du combo de couleurs de janvier.

I'm really happy to announce that I will be staying on Lindy's Gang Design Team for another year. So without further ado, here is my first 2021 project: a set of cards inspired by the January combo color. 

Cette année, Lindy's Gang a décidé d'ajouter un petit plus au challenge. En plus des deux couleurs, vous devrez ajouter un ingrédient spécial. Pour janvier, c'est l'hiver. 



This year, Lindy's Gang decided to add an extra challenge. In addition to the 2 colors, you will need to follow a special ingredient. For January, it's Winter. 

J'ai collé quelques découpes de flocons de neige sur deux morceaux de papier aquarelle (9x20 cm). Une fois collé, j'ai recouvert le tout de gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai coloré le fond avec les squirts Banff Blue et Polite People Purple. 

I glued some die-cut snowflakes on two pieces of watercolor paper (9x20 cm). When done, I primed the watercolor paper with clear gesso. Then I colored the background with Banff Blue and Polite People Purple Squirts. 

J'ai découpé quelques branches de pin, des pommes de pin et des baies dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai coloré les branches de pin et les baies avec l'encre Silent Night Silver, les branches et les pommes de pin avec l'encre Bombshell Black. 
Puis j'ai embossé les baies avec la poudre Slam Dunk Silver et partiellement les branches. J'ai embossé les pommes de pin avec la poudre chunky Chrome Doesn't Pay!.

I die cut some pine branches, pinecones, and berries in a watercolor paper. I color the pine branches and the berries with Silent Night Silver, the branches and the pinecones with Bombshell Black.
Then I embossed the berries with Slam Dunk Silver EP and some parts of the branches. I embossed the pines cones with Chrome Doesn' Pay! chunky EP.

Une fois tout collé, j'ai ajouté des mini flocons de neige et des glitters. Pour finir, j'ai encré les bords du fond avec de l'encre Distress noire que j'ai recouvert de poudre à embosser Slam Dunk Silver. Le résultat est superbe et donne l'impression l'argent est en train de disparaître. 

When everything was glued, I added a few mini snowflakes and glitter. To finish, I inked the edges of the background with black Distress ink and covered them with Slam Dunk Silver EP. The result is beautiful. It looks like the silver is fading.

Some kind of Wonderful - 49 and Market Monthly Challenge

Je suis ravie de vous présenter le challenge mensuel de 49 and Market.

Tous les mois, 49 and Market vous proposera un nouveau sketch et choissira 2 gagnants. Chaque gagnant recevra un prix d'un valeur de 40 $ de produits de 49 and Market tel que papiers, fleurs, ...

Le challenge sera ouvert du 1er au derner du mois.

I'm very thrilled to be the first to introduce you to the 49 and Market monthly challenge.

Every month we will challenge you with a new sketch and pick two winners. Each winner will receive a price worth 40$ of 49 and Market's products such as paper collections, flowers, ...

The challenge will be open from the 1st to the last day of the month.

J'ai commencé par tamponné ici et là avec le tampon Harmony Springtime. Puis j'ai protégé la feuille PePerennial  de la collection VA Sage d'une couche de gesso transparent. Au lieu d'ajouter une bande de papier comme suggéré par le sketch, j'ai décidé d'ajouter un motif que j'ai délimité par du masking tape. J'ai utilisé des pâtes à craqueler transparente et platinum.

First I stamped here and there with the Harmony Springtime stamp. Then I primed the Perennial page from the VA Sage collection with clear gesso. Instead of adding a strip of paper like suggested by the sketch, I decided to add a design. I delimited the area with two pieces of masking tape and added the design with clear and platinum crackle pastes and a floral stencil.

J'ai alterné des papiers des paquets Sage Ephemera Stack et Sage Collage Stack sous la photo. Les deux paquets d'embellissements sont incroyables et si faciles à utiliser pour ajouter du volume à votre projets. 

I layered different papers from the Sage Ephemera Stack and the Sage Collage Stack to add under the photo. Both bundles of papers are amazing and so easy to add layers to your project.

J'ai ajouté des feuilles des "Layered Embellishments" Wedgewood ainsi que des Wildflowers ginger et des Sugar Posies Butterscotch.

I add a few leaves from the Wedgewood layered embellishments along with Ginger Wildflowers and Butterscotch Sugar Posies.

J'ai ajouté une encre moutarde sur le fond pour mettre en évidence le motif. Puis, j'ai ajouté quelques décalcomanies : texte, papillons et le titre "Some kind of Wonderful" de la collection VA Everyday. POur terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles, des sequins et des glitters. 

I added a ginger ink on the background to reveal the design. Next, I added a few rub-ons: text, butterflies, and the title "Some Kind of Wonderful" from the VA Everyday collection. To finish the layout, I added some microbeads, sequins, and glitter.

Pour participer au challenge, vous devrez suivre quelques simples règles :

1. Utiliser le sketch pour faire votre page, vous pouvez bien le tourner, le retourner ...
2. Utiliser au moins les papiers et les fleurs de 49 and Market. Pensez à faire la liste de tous les produits 49 and Market que vous avez utilisé ;
3. Rejoignez le groupe Facebook 49 and Market Fans et télécharger une photo de votre page dans l'album January Challenge ;
4. Mettre le lien de tous les produits 49 and Market que vous avez utilisé vers la boutique de 49 and Market.

To enter the challenge, you will need to follow a few simple rules:

1. Use the sketch as an inspiration to create your layout, you can rotate, flip it, ...
2. Use at least 49 and Market's papers and flowers. Remember to list all the products  you used;
3. Join the 49 and Market Fans Group on Facebook and upload one photo of your project to the January Challenge album;
4. Link all the 49 and Market products you have used to the 49 and Market shop.
