Aujourd'hui, je suis sur le blog de Scrap Around the World avec un petit chassis (20cm x 20cm).

Today, I'm up on Scrap Around the World blog with a little canvas (8" x 8").

Et voici le tableau hivernal que Tiphanie nous avait concocté. Ce tableau est très doux, avec une touche de chaleur qui vient des bougies et des lumières qui complète les couleurs froides.

And here is the mood board from Tiphanie. This mood board is very sweet, a touch of heat with candles and lights which complete the cold colors . 

J'ai commencé par appliquer du gesso sur mon châssis avant d'ajouter un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de gel 3D brillant. Une fois sec, j'ai utilisé des Gelatos pour colorer le fond.

I began to prime the canvas with gesso before adding a design with a stencil and 3D Gloss Gel. When dry, I colored the background with blue and grey Gelatos.

Pendant que le fond séché, j'ai créé une cage à oiseaux que j'ai recouverte de pâte à craqueler. J'ai également utilisé des Gelatos pour la colorer.

While the background was drying, I created a birdcage which I covered with crackle paste. I used the same Gelatos to color it.

J'ai terminé par une touche de cire or pour rappeler les lumières sur la cage à oiseaux et les feuilles.

I finished with a light touch of metallic gold on the birdcage and the leaves to remind the lights.
