Nicolas - Mixed Media Place DT

Bonjour à toutes,

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Mixed Media Place avec une page de mon « Journal de famille ». J'ai commencé ce journal lors d'un atelier « Frozen in Time » avec Anna Dabrowska alias Finnabair, et j'ai décidé d'en faire un journal généalogique : sur chaque page un membre de mon arbre généalogique. Et aujourd'hui c'est au tour de mon grand-père maternel.

Today I'm up on Mixed Media Place blog with a page of my "Family journal". I started this journal during the "Frozen in Time" class with Anna Dabrowska aka Finnabair, I decided that it will be a genealogical journal. And today it's my maternal grand-father turn. 

Pour cette page je me suis inspirée d'une des recettes d'Anna : Under pressure of simplicity.
J'ai commencé par enduire le fond de gesso. Puis à l'aide d'un pochoir j'ai ajouté un motif avec de la pâte de texture et de gesso noir épais.

For this page I was inspired by one of Anna's recipies : Under pressure of simplicity. 
I started by covering the background with white gesso. Then I added a design with Modeling Paste and Heavy Black Gesso.

Une fois le motif sec, j'ai saupoudré la page de Mica Powder que j'ai vaporisé d'eau. Quand j'ai été satisfaite du résultat, j'ai séché et fixé les poudres de mica avec un fixateur. J'ai utilisé la même processus avec un Primary Element.

When the design was dried, I sprinkle the page with Mica Powders and I sprayed water. When I was happy with the result, I dried and fixed the Mica Powders with a fixative. I 've done the same with the Primary Element.

J'ai ajouté une page de livre (mon grand-père était instituteur et il adorait lire),  un sachet de thé et des Mechanicals rouillés sous la photo. J'ai ajouté la même combinaison du côté opposé.

I added a book page (my grand-father was a teacher and he loved reading), a tea bag, some rusted mechanical under my photo. I added the same combination on the opposite side.

Pour finir ma page, j'ai ajouté des Glass Glitter or et des microbilles Splash.

To finish my page, I added some gold Glass Glitter and Splash Micro Beads.
