Pour mon dernier project pour Blue Fern Studios, j'ai choisi une photo que j'ai prise dans les cuisines du château de Chenonceau : une composition très gourmande ....

For my last Blue Fern Studios project, I chose a photo I've taken in the kitchen of the castle of Chenonceau: the composition was all about treats...

Comme toujours, j'ai commencé par couvrir le papier de fond d'une couche de gesso transparent avant d'ajouter un premier motif à l'aide du tampon Christmas Collage et de poudre à embosser Ginger.

As usual, I primed the background with clear gesso before adding a design with the Christmas Collage stamp that I embossed with the Ginger embossing powder.

J'ai ajouté un deuxième motif avec du gel 3D et un pochoir. Une fois sec, j'ai saupoudré de la poudre de mica or que j'ai vaporisé avec de l'eau pour que la poudre se dépose autours des motifs. Puis j'ai coloré le fond avec des aquarelles marrons et j'ai fait des tâches d'encre blanche et d'encre marron.

I added a second design with 3D gel and a stencil. When dry, I sprinkled some gold mica powder that I sprayed with water to make the powder run around the design. Then I colored the background with brown watercolors and sprinkled some white and brown inks.

Pendant que le fond séché, j'ai recouvert le chipboard Ruth's Doily avec de la pâte à craqueler blanche. J'ai peint le titre avce un peinture métallique. J'ai également peint les Blossoms Branches, avec un peinture acrylique et et j'ai ajouté dans l'encre blanche et des glitters sur les boutons de fleurs.

While the background was drying, I covered the Ruth's Doily with a white crackle paste. I painted the French Word with a metallic paint. I painted the Blossom Branches with an acrylic paint too and I added some white ink and glitter to the blossoms.

Pendant que les chipboards séchés, j'ai découpé des feuilles que j'ai coloré avec des aquarelles. J'ai vaporisé toutes les fleurs avec de poudre de mica or. Puis j'ai collé les embellissement avec du gel 3D.

While the chipboards were drying, I die-cut some leaves that I colored with watercolors. And I sprayed all the flowers with a gold mica powder. Then I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel.

J'ai terminé la page avec des flocons de mica, des glass glitters et des glitters.

I finished the layout with some mica flakes, glass glitter, and glitter.

Christmas bouquet - Blue Fern Studios DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Blue Fern Studios avec deux nouveaux projets. Pour ce premier projet, j'ai choisi de travaillé avec une photo que j'ai pris dans le superbe château de Chenonceau. Le château est réputé pour ses magnifiques compositions florales qui ornent chaque pièce. Tous les ans au mois de décembre, le château célèbre Noël avec des décorations spéciales...

Today, I'm up on Blue Fern Studios blog with two projects. For the first one, I chose to work with a photo that I've taken in the beautiful castle of Chenonceau. The castle is well known for his beautiful floral compositions that ornate every room. Every year in December, the castle celebrated Christmas with special decorations... 

Comme toujours, j'ai commencé par couvrir le papier de fond d'une couche de gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'une pâte de texture et d'un pochoir. Avant que la pâte ne soit sèche, j'ai saupoudré le motif de poudre Pearl que j'ai embossé.

As usual, I started to prime the background paper with clear gesso. Then I added a design with modeling paste and a stencil. Before the paste was dry I sprinkled the design with Pearl embossing powder that I heat set.

J'ai peint le chipboard Framington Medley avec peinture Green-Gold Opal Magic et les pailles avec une peinture métallique or.

I painted the Framington Medley with green-gold opal magic paint and the straws with a gold acrylic paint.

J'ai découpé des petites branches que j'ai colorées avec plusieurs aquarelles. Je les ai aussitôt saupoudrées de poudres à embosser Lime et Buttercup que j'ai embossé immédiatement.

I die-cut some berry branches that I colored with different watercolors. While the watercolors were still wet, I sprinkled Lime and Buttercup embossing powder that I heat set to give some texture

Avant de coller tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D mat, j'ai ajouté un peu de couleur au fond.

Before gluing all the embellishments with a 3D matte gel, I added some colors to the background.

Pour finir la page, j'ai ajouté des flocons de micas , des glass glitter, des micro billes et des glitters.

To finished the layout I added some mica flakes, glass glitter, micro beads, and glitters.

Le deuxième que je vous propose aujourd'hui est un set de cartes de Noël. J'ai utilisé les collections Vintage Christmas 1 et 2.

The second project I have to share today is a set of Christmas cards. I used the Vintage Christmas 1 and 2 collections. 

J'ai réalisé les deux cartes de la même façon. Tout d'abord, j'ai recouvert les papiers de fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un tampon et de poudre à embosser 14 Karats. J'ai également embossé les contours du papier de fond et des cartes.

I made the two cards the same way. First I primed the background papers with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a stamp that I embossed with the 14 Karats powder. I embossed also the edge of the background as well as the cards.

J'ai embossé les chipboards "Leafy Accent Pages" avec de la poudre Sand an Sea. J'ai légèrement coloré le fond avec des peintures acryliques.

I embossed the Leafy Accent Pages with the Sand and Sea powder. I colored lightly the background with acrylic paints.

J'ai ajouté quelques fleurs et des feuilles que j'ai découpé et embossé avec de la poudre Antique Gold.

I added some flowers and some die-cut leaves that I embossed with the Antique Gold powder.

Pour celle-ci, j'ai peint les chipboards "Leafy Accent Pages" avec la même aquarelle verte que j'ai utilisé sur le fond.

For this one, I painted the Leafy Accent Pages with the same green watercolor I used on the background.

A l'aide d'un pistolet à colle, j'ai ajouté une goutte de colle sur chaque extrémité des Pretty Weeds que j'ai embossé avec la poudre Poinsettia.

With a glue gun, I added a drop of glue on each Pretty Weeds's stem that I embossed with the Poinsettia powder.
