Today, there is a new challenge on Maja Design blog.

Et voici le superbe tableau d'inspiration que nous a concocté Marie qui a inspiré cette carte.


And here the lovely mood board designed by Marie that inspired this card.

J'ai collé quelques morceaux de paiers ainsi que des tages que k'ai découpé dans la feuille Diecuts du bloc 6x6.

I glued together a few pieces of paper as well as some tags that I cut from the Diecuts sheet from the 6x6 paper pads.

J'ai ajouté quelques feuilles découpées dans le papier Greenery aisni que quelques fleurs.

I added some die cut some leaves in the Greenery paper as well as flowers and laces.

J'ai ajouté des flocons de micas et des glass glitters ainsi qu'un cupidon que j'ai découpé dans la collection Vintage Romance.

I added some mica flakes and glass glitters as well as the fussy cut angel from the Vintage Romance collection.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design une nouvelle page réalisée avec plusieurs collections de papier. Vous verrez comme ils sont très faciles à mélanger.

Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout made with different paper collections. You will see how easy it is to mix them all. 

J'ai choisi comme fond le papier Wind in the air de la collection Summertime. Comme d'habitude, j'ai commencé par protéger le papier avec une couche de gesso transparent, avant d'ajouter un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler transparente.

I used the Wind in the air paper from the Summertime collection as background. As usual I primed it with clear gesso before adding a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste. 

Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté des couleurs avec des Twinkling H2O qui reprennent celles de la photo.

When dry, I added some colors with twinkling H2Os that match the photo.

J'ai choisi différents papiers de différentes collections pour ajouter sous la photo : un bleu foncé de la collection Vintage Autumn Basics et deux brun-vert de la collection Enjoying Outdoors dont j'ai vieillis les bords.

I chose different papers from different collection to add under the photo: a dark blue from from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection and two brown-green from the Enjoying Outdoors collection. I distressed the edges.

Puis j'ai commencé à faire la mise en page : j'ai commencé par coller les papiers, puis j'ai ajouté progressivement tous les éléments en commençant par les plus gros et en terminant par les plus petits (feuilles).

Then I started to build the layout: I started to glue the papers, then I added progressively all the elements starting by the biggest and finishing with the smallest (the leaves).

Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai ajout des micro billes.

When happy with the result, I added some micro beads.

In the Garden Card - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui, c'est une carte pour le challenge d'août de Maja Design que je vous propose de découvrir.

Today, It's a card made ofr the August challenge of Maja Design that I want to share with you.

J'ai utilisé un paper aquarelle comme base sur lequel j'ai collé plusieurs bandes de papier du bloc  6x6 Summertime. J'ai également collé un napperon découpé dans l'un des papiers.

I used a watercolor paper as the base on which I glued several strips of paper from the Summertime 6x6 pad. I glued also a doily die cut in one of the paper.

J'ai ajouté du gesso ainsi que des tâches rouges et vertes. UN fois sec, j'ai collé tous les embellissements : dentelle, fleurs et feuilles.

I added some gesso, as well as red and green splatters. When dry I glued all the embellishments: doily, flowers and leaves.

J'ai ajouté quelques micro-biles pour donner un peu de texture ainsi que quelques tamponnages ici et là.

I added some micro-beads to add more texture as well as some random stamping.

J'ai peint le chipboard ainsi que les bords de la carte avec de la peinture argent.

I painted the sentiment as well as the edge with a silver paint.

Bonjour, aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design pour vous montrer, comme promis, l'intérieur de mon album By the Sea.

Today I'm on Maja Design blog to  show you, as promise, the inside of the By the Sea album.

En réalité, j'ai utilisé les papiers bleus et beiges de deux collections : Summertime et Vintage Baby.

In fact I mixed the blue and beige papers from two collections : Summertime and Vintage Baby.

J'ai utilisé plusieurs morceaux de papiers sur chaque page en faisant attention de toujours avoir un rappel du papier principal sur l'autre page. Cela permet d'avoir une certaine harmonie à l'ensemble.

I added several pieces of paper to each page making sure that there was always a reminder on the main paper to the other page. It helps to add some harmony to the project.

Pour ajouter un peu d'intérêt à chaque page, j'ai ajouter des morceaux de napperons, quelques fleurs, des perles de rocailles et des micor billes.

To add some interest to each page I added bits of doily, a few flowers, some glass beads as well as micro beads.
