Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec un nouveau tambour à broder réalisé avec les couleurs du combo du mois de mai.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new embroidery hoop made with the colors of the May combo.

Voici le combo de couleurs :




Here is the color combo:

J'ai commencé par couvrir le tissu avec du gesso blanc avant d'ajouter un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte de texture papier.

First I primed the linen with white gesso before I added a design with a stencil and paper texture paste. 

Puis, j'ai collé des morceaux de cartons sur trois côtés du cadres pour pouvoir ajouter une photo par la suite. J'ai collé le cadre en premier étant donné que c'est la pièce centrale de la composition.

Next, I glued some cardboard under three sides of the frame so I will be able to add a photo later if I want. I glued first the frame as it is the centerpiece of the composition. 

Puis j'ai commencé à faire ma compostion avec des fleurs, des embellissements en résine, des éléments en pâte papier et des ARt Stones; Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai tout recouvert de gesso noir.

Then I started to build my composition with flowers, resin embellishments, paper clay elements, and Art Stones. When happy with the result, I covered everything with black gesso.

Une fois sec, j'ai vaporisé plusieurs couleurs : Hi Maintenance Magenta, Hibiscus Rose, French Lilac Violet and California Poppy Gold.

When dry, I sprayed different colors: Hi Maintenance Magenta, Hibiscus Rose, French Lilac Violet and California Poppy Gold.

Pour permettre aux couleurs de se voir sur le gesso noir, j'ai brossé du gesso blanc sur l'ensemble des embellissements : non cela les couleurs deviennent plus visibles, mais également les détails.

To help the color to show on the black gesso, I dry brushed white gesso on top of all the embellishments: not only it helped the colors to pop up, but also the details.  

Pour terminer le projet, j'ai ajouter de la cire or.

To finish the project I added some gold wax.

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Sand and Sea. La photo que j'ai choisi pour cette page est mon tout premier photomontage. J'espère que vous aimerez la photo comme la page.

Today I'm p on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Sand and Sea paper collection. The photo I chose for this layout is my first photomontage. I hope we will like both the photo and the layout.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochor et de pâte à craqueler platine. J'ai laissé sécher naturellement.

First I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a stencil and the Platinum crackle paste. I let dry naturally.

Quand la pâte à craqueler a été séche, j'ai ajouté de la couleur avec des Twinkling H2O dans les tons de turquoise et de vert. J'ai également coloré de la gaze avec les mêmes couleurs.

When the crackle paste was dry, I added some color with different shades of aqua and green Twinkling H2Os. I colored with the same colors some cheesecloth.

J'ai peint de petits chipboards poissons avec des peintures acrilyc pour rappeler ceux de la photo.

I painted the tiny chipboard fishes with acrylic paints to match the fishes from the photo. 

J'a découpé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo et j'ai collé avec du gel 3D tous embellissments : les Floral Mixology, les Vintage Shades Bouquet. J'ai ajouté la gaze ainsi que les mini poissons.

I cut some papers to add under the photo and glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel: the Foral Mixology and the Vintage Shades Bouquet. I added some cheesecloth as well as the tiny fishes.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout I added some micro beads.

Aujourd'hui, je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une page réalisée avec la nouvelle colllection Looking Through. J'ai choisi une photo du parrain de mon père : François Brandebourg (1880-1960).

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring my father's godfather: François Brandebourg (1880-1960). I worked with the new collection Looking Through.

J'ai commencé par protéger le papier de fond avec une couche de gesso transparent. Une fois, sec j'ai ajouté un premier motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler argent. J'ai laissé naturallement avant d'ajouter un deuxième motif avec un deuxième pochoir et de pâte graphite.

I primed the background with clear gesso. When dry I added a first design with a stencil and silver crackle paste. I let dry naturally and added a second design with a second stencil and graphite paste.

Pendant que le fond séché, j'ai découpé des feuilles dans du papier aquarelle? J'ai coloré quelques fleurs et les feuilles avec des Twinkling H2Os et une encre en spray.

While the background was drying, I die-cut some leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored some flowers and the leaves with Twinkling H2Os and spray ink. 

J'ai collé tous les embellissements avec un gel 3D: les fleurs, les feuilles et des embellissements métalliques?

I glued the embellishments with a 3D gel: the flowers, the leaves, and some metal embellishments.

J'ai tamponné ici et là avec divers tampons et encres.

I added some random stamping with differents stamps and inks. 

J'ai terminé la page avec des microbilles et des glass glitter.

I finished the layout with some micro beads and glass glitter.
