Bad Luck - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection I Wish. J'ai choisi une photo de mon père qui essayait de réparer son vélo sous la neige. Je pense que cette photo a été prise dans les années 50.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the I Wish collection. I chose an old photo of  my father struggling to repair his bike on a snowy day. I think that the photo was taken in the 50's.

J'ai commencé par protéger le papier de fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un premier motif à l'aide d'encre Archival et d'un pochoir. J'ai tamponné ici et là avec de l'encre noire.

First I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added the first design with a colorful Archival ink and a stencil. I also stamped with a black Archival ink randomly around my design.

J'ai mélangé de la peinture acrylique métallique avec du gel 3D brillant pour ajouter un deuxième motif. J'ai laissé sécher avant d'ajouter de la couleur.

I mixed a metallic acrylic paint with 3D Gloss Gel to add a second design. I let dry before adding some colors.

Pendant que le fond séchait, J'ai découpé des rouages dans du papier aquarelle. Je les ai peint avec les pâtes Rust Effect et j'ai ajouté une légére touche de peinture métallique.

While the background was drying, I die-cut some gears in a heavyweight watercolor paper. I painted them with the Rust Effect pastes and added a light touch of the metallic paint. 

J'ai collé tous les éléments, puis j'ai ajouté des taches d'encre blanche.

I glued all the elements and I splattered some white ink. 

Pour terminer la page, J'ai ajouté des micro billes et des flocons de mica.

To finish the layout I added some micro beads and mica flakes.

Old Woman Shoe - 49 and MarketDT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une page réalisée la collection Vintage Artistry. J'ai choisi une photo prise dans les jardins du château du Rivau de la sculpture de Amy O'Neill : « Old Woman Shoe » .

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a layout featuring the Vintage Artistry collection. I chose a photo taken in the garden of the castle of Rivau (Loire Valley, France) of the sculpture of Amy O'Neill "Old Woman Shoe".

J'ai commencé par protéger le papier de fond avec une couche de gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un premier motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de gel 3D. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un deuxième motif avec un autre pochoir et de pâte à craqueler platine.

I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added the first design with a stencil and 3D Gloss Gel. When dry I added a second design with another stencil and Platinum Crackle Paste.

Une fois la pâte à craqueler sèche, j'ai coloré le fond avec diverses couleurs de Twinkling H2Os.

When the crackle paste was dry, I colored the background with different colors of Twinkling H2Os. 

J'ai coloré les fleurs ainsi que les découpes de feuilles avec les même Twinkling H2Os.

I colored the flowers with the same Twinling H2Os as well as the die-cut leaves. 

J'ai peint les découpes de Blooming Branch et de Curly Gate avec les Rust Effect Pastes : j'ai uniquement utilisé les pâtes marron et rouge. J'ai terminé avec une Twinkling H2O Rubilite au lieu de la pâte Gold.

I painted the Blooming Branch and the Curly Gate die-cuts with the Rust Effect pastes: I only used the brown and red pastes. I added some Rubilite Twinkling H2O to finish them instead of the Gold Paste. 

J'ai collé tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D et j'ai terminé par quelques tampons.

I glued all the embellishments with 3D gel and added some random stamping to finish.
