Horse - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une page réalisée avec la collection I Wish même si nous ne sommes en hiver. J'ai choisi une photo que j'ai prise lors de mon séjour à Prague du "Horse" de David Černý : la statue de St Wencelas chevauchant son cheval mort assis sur son ventre.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the I Wish collection even if we are not in winter. I chose a photo I've taken during my trip in Prague of the "Horse" from David Černý: a statue of St Wenceslas riding his dead horse upside-down.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec une couche de gesso transparent. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler transparente que j'ai laissé sécher naturellement.

I primed the background with clear gesso. When dry, I added a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste which I let dry naturally.

Pendant ce temps, j'ai découpé quelques feuilles dans du papier aquarelle et je les ai coloré avec différentes Twinkling H2Os. J'ai vaporisé les fleurs avec du mica or.

In the meantime, I die cut a few leaves on a watercolor paper and I colored them with differents Twinkling H2Os. I sprayed some flowers with a gold shimmer.

Puis j'ai coloré le motif avec differentes couleurs de Twinkling H2Os.

Next, I colored the design area with different Twinkling H2Os.

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour ajouter sur la photo et j'ai collé les fleurs et le feuilles.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued the flowers and leaves.

J'ai ajouté quelques tampons ici et là. Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des flocons de mica et glass glitters.

I added some random stamping. To finish the layout, I added some mica flakes and glass glitters.

Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring both the "Enjoying Outdoors" and the "I Wish" collections.

Comme d'habitude, j'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec une couche d egesso transparent. Pendant qu'il séchait, j'ai préparé une pâte avec du gel 3D brillant et des poudres de mica Rust et Gold Opal Magic. J'ai ajouté unpremier motif avec cette pâte et un pochoir.

As usual, I primed the background with clear gesso. While it was drying, I prepared a paste with 3D Gloss Gel and the Rust and the Gold Opal Magic Mica Powders. I added a first design with this homemade paste and a stencil.

J'ai préparé une deuxième pâte avec de la peinture Art Alchemy Rusty Red et de poudre de texture : le résultat est une pâte mate que j'ai appliqué avec un autre pochoir pour ajouté une deuxième motif et j'ai laissé sécher le tout.

I prepared a second paste with the Rusty Red Art Alchemy and the Texture Powder: the result is a matte paste. I used a second stencil to add another design and let dry everything.

J'ai peint les orchidées avec la peinture Rusty Red et j'ai ajouté encore plus d'or avec la poudre Gold Opal Magic. J'ai découpé également des branches dans du papier aquarelle.

I painted the orchids with the Rusty Red paint and added more gold to them with the Gold Opal Magic. I die-cut some branches in a watercolor paper. 

J'ai coloré le fond avec une encre Moonshadows et des poudres Magical harmonisé avec les couleurs de la photo. J'ai également ajouté quelques tampons ici et là.

I colored the background with Moonshadow spray ink and Magicals to match the colors of the photo. I added also some random stamping.

J'ai coupé quelques papiers de la collection I Wish assortis aux couleurs de la photos pour matter la photo. Puis j'ai collé tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D.

I cut some papers from the I Wish collection to match and add under the photo. I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel. 

Pour terminer, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et de flocons de mica.

To finish, I added some micro beads and mica flakes.

Xmas card - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design pour mon dernier article de 2016. J'ai réalisé une dernière carte de Noël avec la collection I Wish.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with my last post for 2016. I made a final Xmas card with the I Wish collection.

J'ai collé sur ma base deux morceaux de papiers que j'ai vieilli. J'ai découpé un napperon que j'ai inséré entre les papiers après l'avoir coupé en deux.

I glued on the base two pieces of papers that I distressed. I die-cut a doily cut in two that I inserted between the two papers.

J'ai découpé le texte dans le papier I Wish Ephemera. J'ai collé du sisal, une paire de fleurs, ainsi que des découpes de houx.

I cut the sentiment in the I wish Ephemera. I glued some sisal, a couple of flowers, as well as some die-cut sprigs of holly.

Pour ajouter un peu de "bling", j'ai ajouté des flocons de mica or, aisi que des glitters or, rouge et vert.

To add some sparkling, I added gold mica flakes as well as gold, green and red glitters.

Montresor Castle - Maja Design DT

Au jourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection "I Wish" qui met en page le château de Montrésor (Touraine, France).

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the "I wish" collection as well as the castle of Montresor (Loire Valley, France).

Comme d'habitude, j'ai commencé par appliquer une couche de gesso transparent sur le fond. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche. J'ai laissé sécher naturellement pour obtenir un meilleur résultat.

As usual, I started to apply a layer of clear gesso to the background. When dry, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let dry naturally to obtain a better result.

Pendant ce temps, j'ai coloré les fleurs avec des Primary Elements et des Twinkling H2O.

In the meantime, I colored the flowers with some Primary Elements and Twinkling H2O.

J'ai découpé des fleurs et des feuilles dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai altéré les "blooming branches" avec de la pâte Rust Effect ainsi que les feuilles. Mais j'ai également coloréces dernière avec une aquarelle verte.

I die cut some flowers and leaves. I altered the blooming branches with the Rust Effect Paste as well as the leaves. But I colored the last one with a green watercolor too.

Pendant que tout séché, j'ai coloré le fond avec plusieurs couleurs de Twinkling H2Os. Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai collé tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D.

While everything was drying, I colored the background with different colors of Twinkling H2Os. When happy with the result, I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel.

Pour terminer la page, j'ai ajouté des "glass glitters", des micro billes ainsi que des flocons de mica.

To finish the layout, I added some glass glitter, some micro beads as well as some mica flakes.

I Wish Album - Maja Design DT

Today I'm on Maja Design blog with a new album made with the I Wish collection.

J'ai utilisé les bandes à la base des papiers pour décorer la couvertue. Après les avoir collé, je les ai légérement peint avec du gesso

I used the strips at the base of the papers to decorated the cover. After having glued them, I painted them lightly with gesso. 

Puis j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements : fleurs, découpes, dentelles ...

Then I added some embellishments: flowers, die cuts, doilies, ...

J'ai gardé le design de l'intérieur assez simple. Quelques papiers, quelques découpes de napperons, ...

I kept the inside design simple. A few papers, some die-cut doilies, ...

J'ai tamponné les pages de manière aléatoire avec deux tampons et j'ai embossé l'un des deux motifs ainsi que les bords des papiers de fond.

I stamped randomly the pages with two stamps and I embossed one of the two designs as well as the edges of the background papers.

J'ai ajouté quelques fleurs, des branchages ainsi que des perles de rocailles et des micro billes.

I added some flowers, some sprigs, as well as some glass beads, and micro beads.
