April's cards - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui j'ai un nouveau set de cartes pour Maja Design à vous proposer, réalisées avec la collection Enjoying Outdoors.

Today I have a new set of cards for Maja Design to share with you, featuring the Enjoying Outdoor collection. 

Et voici le tableau d'inspiration que nous a concocé Marie ce mois-ci :


Here is the beautiful mood board that Marie created this month:

Ces cartes sont trés simple à faire. J'ai commencé par couper le papier de fond. Ensuite, j'ai collé un bout de papier et découpé un autre

The cards were really simple to make. First I chose the background paper. Next, I glued a scrap of paper and die cut another one. 

Ensuite, j'ai découpé quelques feuilels dans du papier aquarelles et je les ai coloré avec des encres vertes. J'ai collé un peu de sisal, quelques fleurs, ajouté des microbilles et voilà !

Next, I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper and I colored them with green inks. I glued some sisal, a few flowers, the leaves, added some microbeads, and that's it.

Cette carte peut être utlisée dans les deux sens: portrait ou paysage.

This card can be used both way: Landscape or portrait.

♥ Create anything you’ll like – a layout, a card, something altered or maybe a canvas. Use Maja papers primarily! Take a nice picture of it and send it to moodboard@majadesign.nu. We also need to know your full name, address, and a phone number. Please specify what collection you would like to win if you are the lucky one. We will also want to know if you would like it in the size 12*12 or 6*6. Please send us the pictures in the size of 800 pixels on the width. We would be so grateful if you also could change the file name of the photo to your first and last name including your country.

♥ Feel free to send us more than one picture, from different angles or some close-ups – or why not more than one project?

♥ Publish the project/s on your blog (or/and any social media, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) with a link to our site. Please also add the image of the mood board.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new set of cards featuring one of my favorite collection Enjoying Outdoors. 

Faire des cartes est une bonne façon de se débarasser de tous ces petits morceaux de papiers que vouz avez accumulé au cours de ces derniers mois, ou devrais-je dire au cours des années. Je ne sais pas comment vous les garder, mais j'ai trouvé que les garder dans une pochette avec la collection était la meilleure solution pour les utiliser. Quand j'ai commencé le scrapbooking, je mettais tout les chutes ensemble, mais quand j'en cherché une pour aller sur un projet, je ne trouvé jamais la bonne ! Maintenant je sais que si je ne trouve pas le morceau dont j'ai besoin, c'est parce que je ne l'ai pas et que je vais devoir couper un superbe papier ! Voyons comment j'ai créé ces cartes.

Making cards is a good way to get rid of all the leftovers of papers you have accumulated over the past months or should I say years. I don't know how you keep them, but I found that keeping them in a pocket with the collection is the best way to use them. When I was first starting scrapbooking, I put all the leftovers together, but when I wanted one, well, I never found the right one! Now I know that if I don't find it, it's because I don't have it and I will have to cut some beautiful paper! Let see how I made these cards!

Même si ces deux cartes semblent différentes, je les ai créé de la même façon. J'ai commencé par choisir dans mes chutes de la collection Enjoying Outdoors celles que j'allais utiliser. Et si je ne trouve pas la bonne dans mes chutes, je choisis un papier dans le bloc 6x6.

Even if both cards look different, the way I made them is the same. First, I chose in my leftover from the Enjoying Outdoors collection, which one I could use. When I didn't find the right one, my next move is to look in the 6x6 paper pad. 

Une fois toutes les chutes de papiers trouvées, j'en ai encré les bords pour ajouter du contraste avant de les coller directement sur la base.

When I found all the scraps of paper I needed, I inked the edges to add some contrast before gluing them directly to the card base.

J'ai découpé quelques feuilles dans des papiers verts de la collection.

I die cut some leaves in two green papers from the collection.

Puis j'ai ajouté quelques fleurs.

Then I added a few flowers. 

Sur cette carte, j'ai même ahouté des brins de lavende mon jardin. Et pour les empêcher de se désagréger quand ils sécheront, je les ai recouvert de gel medium.

On this card, I even added some lavender sprigs from my garden. To prevent them from falling apart when they will dry, I covered them with gel medium. 

Et pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

And to finish the layout of the cards I added some microbeads.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new set of cards featuring the Enjoying Outdoors collection. 

Voici le tableau d'inspiration qui m'a suivi de guide pour réaliser ces cartes.

Here is the Mood Bard that I follow to create this cards.

J'ai coupé le papier de fond à la dimension de la carte. Puis j'ai coupé un morceau de papier pour ajouter sur le fond.

I cut the background paper to the size of the card. Then I cut also a strip of paper to add on top of the background.

J'ai découpé un napperon dans le papier Stolling down the Rose path pour ajouter également  sur la carte.

I die cut a doily in the Strolling down the Rose path to add on the card too.

J'ai ajouté du sisal avant de coller quelques fleurs et des feuilles découpées dans du papier aquarelle.

I added some sisal before gluing some flowers and a few leaves die-cut in a watercolor paper.

J'ai ajouté quelques pistils et des glass glitter pour terminer

I added some stamens and glass glitter to finish.

Aujourd'hui, je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une nouvelle page. J'ai travaillé avec les collections Enjoying Outdoors et Vintage Romance. J'ai choisi une photo de mon grand-père et de son frère.

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a new layout. I used both the Enjoying Outdoors and the Vintage Romance collections. I chose a photo of my grandfather and his brother.

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide un pochoir et de gesso blanc. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un deuxième motif avec un autre pochoir et une peinture métallique.

I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a doily stencil and white gesso. When dry, I added a second design with another stencil and a metallic acrylic paint. 

But j'ai coupé le papier de fond en quatre morceaux que j'ai collé sur un autre papier.

Then I cut the the background in four pieces that I glued them on another paper. 

J'ai coupé quelques papiers dans les blocs 6x6 des deux collections pour ajouter sous la photo. J'ai également quelques feuillages dans du papier aquarelle que j'ai coloré avec du Glimmer Glam et de la peinture acrylique.

I cut a few papers from the 6x6 paper pack from both collections to add under the photo. I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper and colored them with Glimmer Glam and acrylic paint.

J'ai ajouté quelques fleurs ainsi que des morceaux de napperons.

I added a few flowers as well as some doily's pieces.

Une fois tout en place, j'ai ajouté un peu de couleurs avec différentes sortes de peitures.

When everything was in place, I added some colors with differents kind of paints.

J'ai terminé la mise en page avec quelques tamponnages.

I finished the layout with some random stamping.
