At the farm - 49 and Market DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Vintage Artistry. J'ai travaillé avec une photo de ma mère avec mon grand-mère.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Artistry collection. I worked with a photo of my mom with my grandfather.

J'ai commencé par tamponner le fond avec divers tampons et encres avant de protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte de texture.

First, I stamped randomly with different stamps and inks before priming the background with clear gesso. Next, I added a design with a stencil and modeling paste.

Pendant que la pâte séchait, j'ai découpé quelques feuiles et brindilles dans du papier aquarelle. Je les ai coloré avec diverses encres.

While the paste was drying, I die cut some leaves and stems in a watercolor paper. I colored them with different inks.

J'ai coloré quelques fleurs également. J'ai aussi ajouter un peu de couleurs au fond pour permettre au motif d'être plus visible.

I colored a few flowers as well. I added some colors to the background too to allow the design to be more visible.

J'ai coupé quelques papiers pour mettre sous la photo, avant de coller tous les embellissements.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo, before gluing all the embellishments.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des flocons de mica et des microbilles.

To finish the layout I added some mica flakes and microbeads.

Rainbow - Lindy's Gang DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec le nouveau combo de couleur.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new layout featuring the new color combo.

And here the September's color combo. And as I found that there wasn't enough colors I added a few more:

Et voici le combo de couleur de septembre. Et comme je trouvais qu'il n'y avait pas assez de couleurs, j'en ajouté quelques unes :

J'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec du gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte de papier.

First, I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a stencil and paper paste.

Une fois la pâte séche, j'ai ajouté de la couleur. J'ai simplement suivie la photo et j'ai fini avec la couleurs de l'arc-en-ciel.

When the paste was dry, I added some color. I just follow the photo and end up with the color of the rainbow.

Puis j'ai tamponné avec une encre noire divers tampons pour ajouter du contraste.

Next, I stamped randomly with a black ink different stamp images to add some contrast.

J'ai peint les chipboards avec du gesso noir pour qu'ils tranchent sur le fond très coloré.

I painted the chipboards with black gesso to make them stand out.

Puis j'ai ajouté quelques fleurs et des découpes de feuillages que j'ai coloré en prenant soin de respecter les couleurs du fond.

Next, I added some flowers and foliage: I take care to follow the colors of the background to color them.
