Little Things

Bonjour,

Hello Sweeties,
I want to share a spring-like layout today.

I associated two challenges: the sketch of Once Upon a...Sketch with the following quote from Art Buchwald: "The best things in life aren't things"...

...and the color combo of Color Room where we need to use some fabric.

The journaling hidden at the back of the layout:
When I took this photo, I though I was simply photographing a Bumblebee. It's only when I was looking at the photos I took that day, that I discovered the little thing on the "big" thing...
In fact, I tried all day to photograph a bee gathering pollen, but there was only bumblebees and this little intruder!

To created my background, I added crackle paste trough a stencil, color with Twinkling, some random stamping with two colors of inks and splatters with black gesso.
The die cut letters were covered with Crackle Accent and lightly waxed to accentuate the crackle.

The chipboards have been altered with crackle paste and colored with the Twinkling H2O.

Too give some lightness at the composition, I added some cheesecloth here and there.
