Langeais - Lindy's Gang

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec une nouvelle page de mon Castle's Journal. J'ai choisi une photo du Château de Langeais (Touraine, France).

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new page of my castle's Journal. I choose a photo of the Château de Langeais (Loire Valley, France)

Et voici le combo de couleur proposé ce mois-ci :

J'ai commencé par coller quelques morceaux de papier (page de livre, sachet de thé, papier de soie) avec un gel mat de chaque côté du fond. Une fois sec, j'ai recouvert l'ensemble de gesso transparent.

First I glued a few scraps of papers (book's page, tea bag, and tissue paper) with a matte gel on each side of my background. When dry, I covered everything with a clear gesso. 

Ensuite, j'ai ajouté plusieurs couleurs à l'aide de deux pochoirs. Bien sûr, j'ai séché entre chaque couleur.

Next, I added different colors with two stencils. Of course, I dried in between each color.  

Pour fondre les papiers dans le fond, j'ai appliqué du gesso blanc à l'aide d'un pinceau. Une fois sec, j'ai tamponné ici et là deux tampons avec deux encres : une noire, un brune. J'ai également ajouté des tâches avec de l'encre de chine.

Next, I faded out the edges of the papers with a brush and white gesso. When dry, I stamped randomly with two stamps and two Archival inks: one black, the other brown.I added also some splatters of drawing ink.

Puis, j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche que j'ai laissé sécher naturellement. Pendant ce temps, j'ai embossé quelques chipboards avec les poudres Orbit Olive Gold et Cosmic Pink Blue.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let dry naturally. In the meatime, I embossed some chipboards with the Orbit Olive Gold EP and the Cosmic Pink Blue EP before adding more white gesso with a sponge to the background. 

Le fond prêt, j'ai collé quelques papiers, la photo, quelques morceaux de napperon, les chipboards embossés, ... Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des micro billes. 

The background ready, I glued a few more papers, the photo, some doily's scraps, the embossed chipboards,... To finish the layout, I added some microbeads.
