Chenonceau - Maja Design DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Maja Design avec une page réalisée avec la nouvelle collection « I Wish ». J'ai choisi une photo du château de Chenonceau : un de mes préférés (Touraine, France)

Today I'm up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the new collection « I wish ». I chose a photo of the beautiful castle of Chenonceau: one of my favorite (Loire Valley, France).

Comme d'habitude j'ai commencé par protéger le fond avec une couche de gesso transparent. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler blanche.

As usual, I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a stencil and a white crackle paste.

Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté plusieurs couleurs avec des Twinkling H2O brunes, bleues et vertes pour s'accorder avec les couleurs de la photo.

When dry, I added different colors using Twinkling H2o: brown, blue and green to match the colors of the photo.

J'ai également coloré les lys et découpé des feuiles dans le papier "I wish for peace and joy". J'ai collé les fleurs, les feuilles ainsi des morceaux de napperon.

I also colored the lilies and die-cut some leaves in the "I wish for peace and joy" paper that I glued the flowers, the leaves and added a few strip of doily.

J'ai ajouté quelques tampons  ici et là ainsi que des tâches noires.

I added some random stamping, as well as some splatters of black ink.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles et des glitters.

To finish the layout, I added some micro beads and some glitters.

Botanical Heirlooms inspiration - 49 and Market DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec deux nouveaux projets réalisés avec la collection Heirloom Botanicals. Le premier est une page. J'ai pris cette photo au château de Chenonceau très connu pour les magnifiques compositions florales qui ornent toutes les salles (Touraine, France)

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with two new projects featuring the Botanical Heirlooms collection. The fist one is a layout. I took this photo in the castle of Chenonceau well known for the beautiful floral compositions that decorated all the rooms (Loire Valley, France).

Comme d'habitude, j'ai commencé par appliquer une couche de gesso transparent pour protéger le papier de fond. Puis j'ai ajouté un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte de texture.

As always I started with a layer of clear gesso to preserve the background paper. Then I added a design with a stencil and Modeling Paste.

J'ai empilé quelques papiers sous a photo et j'ai ajouté de la gaze et de la dentelle entre les papiers.

I stacked a few papers under the photo and I added some gauze and lace between the layers. 

Une fois contente du résultat, j'ai vaporisé la gaze et la dentelle avec un mélange de Primary Element et d'eau puis j'ai laissé séché.

When happy with the result, I sprayed the gauze and the lace with a mix of Primary Element and water and let dry.

Puis j'ai fait des tâches avec de l'encre blanche et de la peinture acrylique rouge.

Then I splattered some white ink and red acrylic paint. 

Pour finir j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements métalliques et  des strass.

To finished I added a few metallic embellishments as well as some crystals.

Le deuxième projet est en réalité un double projet puisqu'il s'agit d'un set de deux cartes.

The second project is, in fact, a double project as it is a set of two cards.

J'ai commencé par couper le paier Serenity en morceaux de différentes tailles et je les ai collé sur le fond.

I started to cut the Serenity paper in pieces of different sizes and I glued them to the Conservatory paper. 

J'ai mélangé de la peinture acrylique avec de la poudre de texture, puis j'ai utilisé ce mélange pour ahouter un premier motif. J'ai ajouté le deuxième avec un autre pochoir et de la pâte à craqueler platine.

I mixed an acrylic paint with texture powder, then I used these mix to add the first design to the background. I added the second design with another stencil and Platinum crackle paste. 

J'ai collé quelques fleurs, des découpes de feuilles, de la dentelles et ...

I added a few flowers, some die-cuts leaves, some lace and ... 

... quelques mini Art Stones.

Pour terminer, j'ai ajouté un mot issu du set Gabi's words stamps set.

To finished I added a sentiment from Gabi's words stamps set.
