Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new video tutorial where I show you how I make this mixed media canvas featuring the Vintage Artistry Sage collection.

J'ai coupé un morceau du papier Papillon de la collection Vintage Artistry Sage à la dimension du chassis. Puis, je l'ai coupé en plusieurs morceaux. Enfin, j'ai encré les bords de chaque papier.

I cut a piece of the Papillon sheet from the Vintage Artistry Sage collection to fit my canvas. Next, I cut the paper into several pieces. When done, I inked the edges of all the paper pieces. 

J'ai uilisé divers tampons des set Gratitude Today, Snapshots of Yesterday, Best Ever, et 1787 pour tamponner les bords de chaque papier. J'ai peint le chassis avec du gesso noir avant de coller tous les petits morceaux de papier. Une fois fini, j'ai ajouté un motif avec de la pâte de papier et un pochoir.

I used different stamps from the sets Gratitude Today, Snapshots of Yesterday, Best Ever, and 1787 to stamp the edges of each paper piece. I painted the canvas with black gesso before gluing all the papers. When done, I added a design with Paper paste and a stencil.

J'ai print quelques fioritures en résine avec de la printer marron et du gesso noir. Après les avoir sécher, j'ai enlevé la peinture des parties les plus exposées. J'ai coloré quelques Country Blooms avec les encres Salt Water Taffy et Bodacious Blush et quelques découpes de feuilles avec les encres My Mojito Green et Cream Brulé Cream.

I painted some resin flourishes with brown paint and black gesso. After drying them, I removed the paint from the top of the flourishes. I colored some Country Blooms with Salt Water Taffy and Bodacious Blush inks and I few die cut leaves with My Mojito Green and Cream Brulé Cream inks. 

J'ai collé tous les éléments avec du gel 3D mat. Puis, j'ai coloré au fond avec les même couleurs que celles utilisées précédemment. J'ai ajouté de la cire Old Silver aux éléments métalliques et aux fioritures.

I glued all the elements with 3D Matte Gel. Then, I add some color to the background with the colors used previously. I added some Old Silver wax to the metallic elements and the flourishes. 

Pour terminer, j'ai ajouté des glitters et des perles.

To finish, I added some glitter and pearls.

Star - Lindy's Gang DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec un nouveau projet inspiré du superbe combo de couleur de décembre.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new project: a star inspired by the beautiful color of December's combo. 

Processus / Basic process:

1. Colorer un papier aquarelle avec Polite Peaople et Banff Blue ;
   Color a watercolor paper with Polite People Purple and Banff Blue;
2. COuper e papier à la taille de l'étoile
   Cut the paper to the size of the star;
3. Puis coller le sur l'étoile ;
   Then glue it to the star;
4. Ajouter un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir et de pâte à craqueler or ;
   Add a design with gold crackle paste;
5. une fois sec, ajouter un peu de Hockey Puck Black ;
   When dry, add some Hockey Puck Black;
6. Colorer  quelques fleurs avec Polite People Purple ;
   Color some flowers with Polite People Purple;
   
   
   
   
   
7. Vaporiser quelques feuilles avec Ponderosa Pines Olive ;
   Spray some leaves with Ponderosa Pines Olive;
8. Découper quelques baies, feuilles et brindilles dans un papier aquarelle ;
   Die-cut some berries, leaves, and sprigs in a watercolor paper;
9. Colorer les découpes avec les encres utilisées précédemment ;
   Color the die-cut elements with the previous inks;
   
   
   
   
   
10. Embosser les baies avec Aurora Amethyst EP ;
    Emboss the berries with Aurora Amethyst EP;
    
    
    
11. Embosser les brindilles avec King Midas Gold ;
    Emboss the sprigs with King Midas Gold EP;
12. Colorer un cadre en resine préalablement recouvert de gesso transparent avec Hockey Puck Black et Banff Blue ;
    Color a resin frame primed with clear gesso with Hockey Puck Black and Banff Blue;
    
    
    
    
    
13. Puis accentuer les détails avec de la cire or ;
    Then add gold wax to highlight the texture;
14. Coller tous les éléments ;
    Time to glue all the elements;
15. Cirer les bords de l'étoile ;
    Add gold wax to the edge of the star;
16. a=Pour finir, ajouter des min-étoiles or, des glitters et des microbilles.
    To finish add gold mini-stars, glitters, and microbeads.

The Reader - 49 and Market DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la mini-collection Old School.

Today, I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Old School mini-collection. 

J'ai tamponné ici et là avec le tampon 1787 et de l'encre Archival noire. Une fois satisfaite, j'ai protégé le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai coloré le fond avec des encres bleues et violettes.

I stamped randomly with the 1787 stamp and black Archival ink. When happy with the result, I primed the background paper with clear gesso. Next, I colored the background with blue and purple inks.

J'ai mélangé des glitters noirs et violets avec du gel 3D brillant. J'ai utilisé cette pâte maison pour ajouter un motif à l'aide d'un pochoir.

I mixed together purple and black glitter with 3D gloss gel. I used this homemade paste to add a design with a stencil. 

J'ai découpé des feuilles dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai peint les feuilles en filigrane avec du gesso noir, puis avec une cire argent. J'ai simplement encré les autres avec des encres bleues et vertes.

I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored the filigree leaves with black gesso then with silver wax. I simply inked the other ones with green and blue inks.

J'ai coloré le centre des Cotton Blooms avec une encre violette. J'ai également coloré les napperons avec les même encres bleues et violettes utilisées pour colorer le fond.

I colored the center of the Cotton Blooms with the purple ink. I colored the doilies with the same blue and purple inks I used for the background.

J'ai collé tous les embellissements avec du gel 3D mat ainsi que quelques éléments de la feuille laser-cut.

I glued all the embellishments I have prepared with a 3D Matte Gel as well as some elements from the laser-cut sheet.

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des microbilles.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads.

Perfection is overrated - 49 and Market DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une page réalisée avec les mini-collections Ethereal et Serendipitous.

Today, I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a layout featuring the mini-collections Ethereal and Serendipitous.

J'ai commencé par tamponner le fond avec le set de tampons Rations. Une fois satisfaite, j'ai protégé le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent. Puis, j'ai ajouté un motif inversé à l'aide d'un pochoir et de peinture acrylique : j'ai peint le pochoir que j'ai ensuite posé sur le papier pour obtenir une image inversée du pochoir.

First, I stamped randomly with the Rations stamps set. When satisfied, I primed the background with clear gesso. Next, I added a reversed design with a stencil and acrylic paint: I painted the stencil and then I pressed it on the paper to obtain a reversed image of the stencil.

J'ai découpé le cadre de la collection Serendipitous que j'ai collé que le papier de fond.

I cut the frame from the Serendipitous collection and I glued it on top of the background. 

J'ai coloré les Cotton Blooms avec deux encres oranges. J'ai recouvert les rouages en résine avec du gesso noir, puis je les ai cirés avec une cire cuivre.

I colored the Cotton Blooms with two shades of orange inks. I primed some resin elements with black gesso, and I waxed them with a copper wax.

J'ai coloré le fond avec des encres orange et noire avant de coller les embellissements avec du gel 3D mat: les Cotton Blooms, les rouages, ainsi que des feuilles de la collection Ethereal.

I colored the background with orange and black inks, before gluing with 3D Matte Gel all the embellishments: Cotton Blooms, resin gears, and leaves from the Ethereal Layered Embellishments. 

J'ai coloré quelques Art Stones avec de l'encre de chine et je les ai également cirées avec le cire cuivre.

I colored some Art Stones with Indian ink. When dry, I waxed them with the copper wax. 

Pour finir la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des tâches à l'aide d'un mélange de glitter, d'eau et de gel mat ainsi qu'une plaque avec le titre du tableau.

To finish the layout, I added some splatters made of a mixture of glitter and soft matte gel, as well as a title's plate.

Purple Rain - 49 and Market DT

Aujourd'hui, je suis sur le blog de 49 and Market avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec les collections Vintage Remnants et Ethereal.

Today I'm up on 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Remnants and the Ethereal collection. 

J'ai protégé le fond avec du gesso transparent. Une fois sec, j'ai ajouté un motif avec de la pâte White Sand et d'un pochoir que j'ai séché.

I primed the background with clear gesso. When dry, I added a design with white sand texture paste. I dried it with a heat gun.

Tant que la pâte était encore collante, j'ai frotté délicatement une feuille argent pour ajouter une touche brillante. Enfin, j'ai ajouté un deuxième motif à l'aide d'un autre pochoir et de peinture acrylique.

While the paste was still sticky, I rubbed gently a silver foil to add a shiny touch to the design. Next, I added a second design with a stencil and an acrylic paint.

J'ai coloré quelques fleurs de plusieurs colletions (Botanical Blands, Botanical Potpourro, et Cotton Blooms) avec la même encre et j'en ai gardé quelques unes blanches pour rappeler les fleurs de la couronne.

I colored a few flowers from different collections (Botanical Blends, Botanical Potpourri, and Cotton Blooms) with the same ink and I kept some of them white to remind the flowers' crown. 

J'ai découpé quelques morceaux de papier pour mettre sous la photo, et j'ai commencé à coller les fleurs ainsi que les feuilles. J'ai également ajouter quelques éléments naturel. Une fois satisfaite, j'ai ajouté des glass glitters et des microbilles.

I cut a few pieces of paper to add under the photo, and I started to glue the flowers as well as the leaves. I added some natural elements too. When happy, I added some glass glitters and microbeads.

Pour finir la mise en page j'ai ajouté quelques tamponnages avec le set Pascale's Formula.

To finish the layout, I stamped with Pascale's Formula and I splattered with white ink.
