Easter Wreath - Lindy's Gang DT

Aujourd'hui je suis sur le blog de Lindy's Gang avec une nouvelle vidéo. Le printemps est déjà là, et Pâques n'est plus très loin, c'est pourquoi j'ai décidé de faire une couronne de Pâques.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new step-by-step video. Spring is already there, and Easter not that far away, so I decide to make an Easter wreath.

J'ai ajouté un motif sur un papier aquarelle avec un pochoir et de la pâte à craqueler transparente. Je l'ai mis de côté pour permettre aux craquelures d'apparaître.

I added a design on a watercolor paper with a stencil and clear crackle paste. I left it aside to dry to allow the crackle to appear. 

Pendant ce temps, j'ai coloré diverses découpes de feuilles et branches avec les encres My Mojito Green, Edelweiss Moss Green et Antique Bronze. Je les ai embossées avec les poudres Oakleaf Olive , Spanish Moss Green et Bratwurst Brown. J'ai embossé que branches de baies avec la poudre Scotch Broom Yellow , puis je les ai coloré avec l'encre Dark Chocolate Brown.

In the meantime, I colored different die-cut leaves and branches with My Mojito Green, Edelweiss Moss Green, and Antique Bronze. I embossed them as well with Oakleaf Olive EP, Spanish Moss Green, and Bratwurst Brown. I embossed some berry branches with Scotch Broom Yellow EP, then I colored them with Dark Chocolate Brown.

J'ai embossé un chipboard cage à poule avec les poudres Chip Off the Black et Tin Roof, Rusted!
J'ai coloré le papier aquarelle ainsi que des rubans avec les encres Yellow Rose of Texas, My Mojito Green, Edelweiss Moss Green et Dark Chocolate Truffle. Je l'ai collé sur un tag de carton et attaché les rubans.

I embossed a chicken wire chipboard with the Chip Off the Black and TinRoof, Rusted! chunky EP.
I colored the watercolor paper along with ribbons with Yellow Rose of Texas, My Mojito Green, Edelweiss Moss Green, and Dark Chocolate Truffle inks. I glued it on a cardboard tag and added the ribbon.

J'ai découpé une paire de papillons que j'ai coloré avec les encres Yellow Rose of Texas et Dark Chocolate Truffle. Puis, j'ai ajouté du "foil" or.

I die cut a couple of butterflies which I colored with Yellow Rose of Texas and Darl Chocolate Truffle inks. Next, I added some gold foil. 

J'ai collé tous les éléments que j'ai préparé ainsi que des vraies branches et des fleurs. J'ai fait un nid avec du sisal et ajouté des oeufs. Pour finir, j'ai ajouté des sequins et des microbilles.

I glued all the elements I've prepared along with natural branches, and flowers. I made a nest with sisal and added some eggs. To finish, I added some sequins and microbeads.

Free to Fly - Mixed media layout for Lindy's Gang

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new step-by-step mixed media layout.

J'ai tamponné ici et là le fond avant de le protéger d'une couvhe de gesso transparent. J'ai mélangé du gel 3D brillant et de la poudre Steel SHimmer du set Industrial Chic, puis j'ai utilisé cette pâte pour ajouter un motif avec un pochoir.

I stamped randomly the background, then I primed the background with clear gesso. I mixed together 3D Gloss Gel and the Magical Steel Shimmer from the Industrial Chic set. I used this paste to add a design with a stencil. 

Une fois sec, j'ai coloré le fond avec les encres Tweedle Dee Denim et Tainted Love Teal.

When dry, I color the background with Tweedle Dee Denim and Tainted Love Teal.

J'ai remplacé le centre des fleurs avec des pistils argent. J'ai collé quelques branches pour rappeler la photo et ajouter les fleurs. J'ai embossé des perles diamants avec les poudres Hyacinth Blue Jade et Lapis Lazulli Blue Gold.

I replace the center of the flowers with silver pistils. I glued some branches to match to photo and add the flowers. I embossed the back of diamond pebbles with Hyacinth Blue Jade and Lapis Lazuli Blue Gold. 

J'ai découpé des papillons dans du papier aquarelle. J'ai simplement embossé les âpillons évidés aves la poudre Chrome Doesn't Pay, mais pas complétement pour ne pas faire fondre toute la poudre. J'ai égalemnt les papillons pleins avec Chrome Doesn't Pay, mais une fois la poudre complétement fondue, j'ai tamponnée celle-ci pour donner du relief aux papillons.

I die cut some butterflies in a watercolor paper. I just embossed the perforated butterflies with Chrome Doesn't Pay, but not completely to not melt all the chunky EP. I embossed also the plain butterflies with Chrome Doesn't Pay, but when the powder was completely melted, I stamped the hot enamel to give some texture to the butterflies.

Pour terminer la mise en page, j'ai ajouté des sequins, des glass glitters et des microbilles.

To finish the layout, I added sequins, glass glitters, and microbeads.

Today I'm up on Lindy's Gang blog with a new layout with a step-by-step video.

Basic process:

1. Tamponner ici et là avec de l'encre Archival noire;
   Add some random stamping with black archival ink;
2. Protéger ensuite le fond d'une couche de gesso transparent;
   Next, prime the background with clear gesso;
3. Préparer une pâte avec du gel 3D brillant et de la poudre Screamin' banshee Black;
   Prepare a paste with 3D Gloss Gel and Screamin' banshee Black Magical;
4. Ajouter un motif avec cette pâte maison et un pochoir. Mettre de côté et laisser sécher naturellement.
   Add a design with this homemade paste and a stencil. Put aside and let it dry naturally;
5. Pendant ce temps, colorer quelques fleurs avec les encres BuccanerBay Blue, Open Arms Amethyst et Violaceous Violet;
   In the meantime, color some flowers with Buccaneer Bay Blue, Open Arms Amethyst, and Violaceous Violet;
   
   
   
   
   
6. Découper quelques feuilles, baies, branches, ... dans du papier aquarelle;
   Die-cut some leaves, berries, branches, ... in a watercolor paper;
7. Colorer les découpes avec les encres Dark Chocolate Truffle, Screamin' banshee Black et Open Arm Amethyst;
   Color the die-cut elements with Dark Chocolate Truffle, Screamin' banshee Black, and Open Arms Amethyst.
8. Recouvrir une abeille en résine avec du gesso transparent et colorer la avec les mêmes couleurs;
   Prime a resin bee with clear gesso and color it with the same colors;
   
   
   
   
   
9. Coller tous les éléments avec du gel 3D mat;
   Glue all the elements with 3D Matte Gel;
10. Ajouter des microbilles et des flocons de mica;
    Add some microbeads and mica flakes.
